in #life7 years ago

Bitcoins, Litecoins, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Monero are just cryptocurrencies build on top of blockchain technology empowering the digital currency to the world, but what makes Steemit so powerful enough to battle top cryptocurrencies? Steemit isn't just a cryptocurrency build on top of BlockChain technology, but a completely decentralized community filled with lovely people ready to help each other in the best way they can.

We all live in our society but not all of this society are as much helpful as the steemit society. As it has been quoted by Robert Ingersol "We Rise by Lifting Others." which is where the steemit community based on, People help others in their journey of life to the best of them. Miracles don't always happen in real life, but it happens daily on steemit, people sharing article enlighting each other with knowledge and wisdom while others providing inspiration through the Art of drawing, video making, music and through many other ways using their skills.

Steemit community is a mixture of programmers, designers, artists, dancers, YouTubers, bloggers, and people with different occupations and even students and those who don't have any job. But the mixture of this community is the foundation of the power that steemit is built that cannot be found in any other place.

The most recent miracle happening on Steemit which is a case of a young SEO expert and blogger, who's MRI scan is not encouraging and the only way that his life could be saved through surgeries and medications which is a long process and costly. Unfortunately, our fellow Steemer is unable to provide the huge cost of surgery and medication needed to save his life, and here is where the Steemit community plays the biggest part.

On one of his posts "Fellow Steemers, I Need Help as My MRI Results Are Not Encouraging", he has received upvotes from 3377 steemit users, valuing his post at around $17,280.00 which has also many other upvotes on his comments, and the most beautiful part where hundreds of donations has been sent even before the post-payout, providing him enough to cash to be able to cover his costs of medications and part of the surgery cost.

People are supporting him through donations, upvotes, prayers and writing stories encouraging and giving extra hope and life through their digital bond. People having similar stories have written about it, while other writing a beautiful article about him. The biggest donation that has been made to him is 100 steem while other donations being less have contributed towards helping the young blogger.

This isn't the only thing that has happened on steemit. Many YouTubers have joined steemit and found they life being upgraded.
