Discipline is Important

Where do I want my life to be? This is a question that most of us ponder on time and again. Having a purpose in life, a vision is important because that gives us some clear direction to life, but then how to achieve it is also important and to achieve any goal or vision in life the most important thing is to be disciplined.

Being disciplined in life can be painful at times, it can demand a great deal out of you. We may have to sacrifice some pleasures butt then what we may get in return may be much more valuable then what we lose on the way.

When we lack discipline in life, we lack focus, motivation the zeal to achieve our goals. A person who wants to achieve big things in life will always disciplined in the action plan to achieve it, because things will just not fall in place by itself. Results will not happen without action and sometimes we may achieve it without being disciplined but the outcome may vary from what we may have wished for.

Waking up at a certain hour in morning is a matter of discipline, starting the day with specific rituals is a discipline, following a healthy diet and not getting influenced by junk is a matter of discipline. When discipline sets in to our life, we can clearly see what is good for us and what is not.

Discipline brings in assertiveness in life, when we know what we are doing and what we want to achieve we will cut ourselves out from all the external toxicity of life.
