There are other techniques also & this does work for depression, anxiety and a host of other issues. It has worked for me! What you dont feel, in the unconscious, is creating symptoms to distract you. Usually repressed anger Rage and fear. Not the anger or fear you feel but the stuff you dont feel is what is creating symptoms. This is not make believe and has worked for many but you have to want it and have to do the work. Imho, my experience and from what i have learned, suicide/depression/ anxiety, is the brains way of diverting your attention from suppressed/repressed emotions that we are not concious of. Feelings we dont feel or know are even there. After about 30 days of doing journal speak and a few other techniques all the anxiety, depression, and tendencies left me.
