The Science and Wonder of Electro Dermal Screening
I’ve had the good fortune of living in a family that seeks out natural ways to heal the body.
We’ve all heard the phrase, ‘an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.’ The prevention is something each of us can learn and practice on our own, and in our homes.
My family are not doctors - though there are a few that earned their nursing degree - what they are good at, is thinking outside the box.
One way that we have colored outside the lines, is in the practice of Electro Dermal Screening.
EDS has its roots in acupuncture. While acupuncture uses pressure to release and move stored energy, EDS uses polarized electrodes to measure the health of the bodies organs.
Our skin has a galvanic resistance on its surface. Coupled with that galvanic resistance, are specific organ pressure points that allow us to know if there are nutrient deficiencies or slowing organ capabilities.
So how does it work? A patient will sit down and hold a brass rod in one hand, and place their other hand flat on the table. The trained practitioner will apply a probe that sends an electrical current through the organ projection area.
Sounds like science fiction right? Well, it works. I’ve had sat down with members of my family multiple times.
We typically discuss a few things that are going on health wise, and begin searching the health of the organs based on the symptoms we find.
For instance, when I was high school and struggling with acne, we tested the alignment of my spine.
While my food intake was on point - aside from ice cream of course - my spine was pinching parts of my intestine. That made sense to me then because of some digestion issues I had been having. Food was not finishing it’s cycle through my system, and bad bacteria was allowed to prosper. You get the idea.
There is so much science and intrigue to study in the world of EDS, and I encourage you to take a look at it.
The amazing thing to me is how the body always works in unison. When that fine melodic symphony is out of tune, indicators and notifications will begin popping up to let us know something is wrong. When you have a good conductor, it becomes a scavenger hunt to find the problem. I’m blessed to have so many in my family to turn to.
Thank you for posting @lydon.sipe.
Lovely article and quote.
Appreciate hearing about EDS....will certainly look into it further.
Please give my regards to @mustardseed.
All the best.
Cheers.
Thank you @bleujay for your wonderful encouragement.
@mustardseed always loves to hear from you - I will send on your regards.
Blessings to you.
This goes along with a video I watched yesterday called Body Electric.
Nice! The electrical currents in the body are fascinating to study.
I agree with finding natural ways to heal, but when I'm not feeling right I pray. I'm not adverse to taking a pill but it's usually the last thing I do. Deb always laughs because I take one pill and am cured - more often I make the decision to take the pill but don't need to. I do believe God heals me, but it's subject to His sovereign will. Funny thing is, he seems to like to help me :)
Indeed, it is all subject to His sovereign will. I can just see you taking that one magic pill, and Deb laughing at the results. :)
I'm so susceptible to suggestion LOL
You are SO susceptible.
It's so true. I do. He's aaaaaagony and one pill does the trick. Meanwhile, I have to take a course of anti inflammatory medication when I have a migraine or arthritis flare up. I don't get it. lol
Wow that sounds great, our body is an electrical machine in many ways and detecting what is wrong by reading electric charges makes perfect sense and could help pinpoint deceases. I want to see a diagram of that machine so my father can built one. He is an electrician and can make one of those if he had the diagram.
It does make sense when you think about it. Not sure where you would go for a diagram - my google searches did not reveal much.
I learned something new!
technology keeps improving and improving, i'd love to see where we're at in like 10-20 years from now :)
And it grows exponentially - the next 10-20 years will be something to behold.
I find this quite intriguing. Must look into it further. Re-Steemed...
😄😇😄
I thought you would enjoy this subject. :)
science is taking a leap forward each day : O
Science is one of the ways to invest in everyone’s future.
Absolutely
@lydon.sipe there is many familly have deferent ways for natural healing without the need for a doctor .. for example " Acupuncture " The insertion of very fine needles into the skin in specific areas of the body, a very ancient treatment for pain relief taken from Chinese medicine , Chinese medicine explains Chinese acupuncture as a way to balance the flow of energy in the body, which is believed to flow through certain pathways in the body, and by inserting needles at certain points along these paths, Chinese acupuncturists believe that the flow of your energy will restore its balance. In contrast, many Western practitioners see Chinese acupuncture points as mere places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue. Some believe that this stimulation enhances natural painkillers in the body and increases blood flow.
