Here I am Lucia again trying to find a good and virtuous topic to inscribe and share at the same time to learn about.

So the topic for today is "Summer in The Middle of Winter".

For anyone skeptical about global warming, explain why we have summer in the middle of winter in Australia. At a time when temperatures should be at most in the last part of adolescence, they are already up to 26 degrees and are rising. The people of the last weekend went to swim to the beaches while they enjoyed the summer days and the warm nights. Next week will be even hotter.

This is a bad sign for what is to come. Australian summers are always warm and temperatures until the mid-forties are normal in some places. Around the coast it can reach almost that height and the sudden fires have burned thousands of acres of bushes in the last seasons of summer.

Unfortunately, hundreds of homes have also been destroyed in fires, floods and cyclones. This is not only happening in this country but throughout the world. Our firefighters are now in Canada helping with the big fires that are burning in that country. They also attended some in California a few weeks ago.

While they are free to travel during the winter, this puts them at their disposal to help in other countries and when our turn comes, many come from the north to help us too. The facts are, however, that the seasons are heating up. The balloon is heating up at a faster rate than anticipated. The impact of climate change is striking everywhere with the same tenacity.

It is out of our hands to stop it because we have obviously exceeded the point of no return. The tragedy is that many are suffering in places where cameras do not usually arrive. Children are dying of hunger, families are fleeing to who knows where, and the impact on the earth is terminal.
