1.Do you know that average weight of your brain is 1400g? It is 2% of our body!

2.When you rest your brain uses 20% of the oxygen provided to the organism.
3.Few SECONDS of cardiac arrest is responsible for loss of consciousness. Few MINUTES of cardiac arrest can cause permanent damage in brain.
4.Brain consists of 100 billions neurons. Every neuron can create even 10 000 connections with other brain cells.
5.Brain is composed of water in 80%.
6.When your brain is active it generates energy- 25 watts. It's enough to turn on the light bulb :)
7.Some myths claims that we use only 10% of our brain. It's not true! We always use 100% of it, every part has its own function :)
8.Extra fun fact: brain in polish (my native language) is called mózg :)
