Hi friends, today I want to tell you about the bad adventure that a person I care about has gone through: my cousin.

About two months ago my cousin's father, my uncle, died.
Uncle Vito was an exceptional person, kind-hearted and very positive, always ready to give advice and dispense good words.

While my uncle's funeral is taking place, three people enter my cousin's house and steal gold and jewelry.
My cousin has recently lost his job and, like his father, is a humble and good person.
While a son mourns the death of his beloved dad, three fools steal the memories of the baptism and communion of his children ...

How insensitive can man be, how heartless can he be?

Each of us can have a different story and a different past...
each of us can have more or less deep scars ... but taking advantage of a person's death means overcoming any limit of meanness.

The day after the funeral I call my cousin to find out how he is and if there is any news about the theft.
My daughter hears the call and, after the conversation, asks me a thousand questions.

I explain to Chiara that there are not only good people but also bad people like in fairy tales or in movies.

The next day I went into my daughter's bedroom and found an inscription on the blackboard.

Obviously there is an error in this writing but my daughter is only six years old ...

I called Chiara and asked her:

I: Chiara, why did you write that phrase on the blackboard?
Chiara: I wrote this because if thieves come to our house, they read and don't steal.

I smiled and kissed my daughter on the forehead and said:

I: Love don't worry, the thieves don't come to us, we live on the second floor and can't enter through the window as they did with Adriano (my cousin).

Obviously I didn't tell the truth to my daughter ...

The truth is that thieves can also enter my house, even if I live on the second floor and even if they wouldn't find much.

The truth is, there are people who enjoy eating other people's pain without feeling remorse.
The truth is that there are people who have decided to tear their hearts out with their own hands.
The truth is that there are heartless people, heartless thieves ...

My cousin has lost gold and jewelry, has lost material objects even if of emotional value.
The thieves who entered his home taking advantage of a circumstance of pain have lost much more, they have lost an invaluable wealth ... they have lost all their dignity.

Ciao amici, oggi voglio raccontarvi la brutta avventura che ha passato una persona a me molto cara: mio cugino.

Circa due mesi fa il padre di mio cugino, mio zio, è morto.
Zio Vito era una persona eccezionale, buona di cuore e molto positiva, sempre pronta a dare consigli e dispensare buone parole.

Mentre si svolge il funerale di mio zio tre persone entrano in casa di mio cugino e rubano oro e gioielli.

Mio cugino ha perso da poco il suo lavoro e, come il padre, è una persona umile e buona.
Mentre un figlio piange la morte del suo amato papà, tre balordi gli rubano i ricordi del battesimo e della comunione dei suoi figli...

Quanto può essere insensibile l'uomo, quanto può essere senza cuore?

Ognuno di noi può avere una storia diversa e un passato diverso...
ognuno di noi può avere cicatrici più o meno profonde...ma approfittare della morte di una persona significa superare ogni limite di meschinità.

Il giorno dopo il funerale chiamo mio cugino per sapere come sta e se ci sono novità riguardo il furto.
Mia figlia sente la telefonata e, terminata la conversazione, mi tempesta di domande.

Il giorno dopo entro nella cameretta di mia figlia e trovo una scritta sulla sua lavagna.

"No rubate a casa mia"

Ovviamente c'è un errore in questa scritta ma mia figlia ha solo sei anni...

Ho chiamato Chiara e le ho chiesto:

I: Chiara perchè hai scritto sulla lavagna quella frase?
Chiara: Papà ho scritto così perchè se vengono i ladri a casa nostra, leggono la lavagna e non rubano.

Ho sorriso e baciato sulla fronte mia figlia e le ho detto:

I: Amore non ti preoccupare da noi i ladri non vengono, noi abitiamo al secondo piano e non possono entrare dalla finestra come hanno fatto con Adriano (mio cugino).

Ovviamente non ho detto la verità a mia figlia...

La verità è che i ladri possono entrare anche a casa mia, anche se abito al secondo piano e anche se non troverebbero molto.
La verità è che ci sono persone che hanno deciso di essere cattive.
La verità è che ci sono persone che provano piacere a calpestare i sentimenti.
La verità è che ci sono persone che provano gusto a cibarsi del dolore degli altri senza provare alcun rimorso.
La verità è che ci sono persone che hanno deciso di strapparsi il cuore con le proprie mani.
La verità è che ci sono persone senza cuore, ladri senza cuore...

Mio cugino ha perso oro e gioielli, ha perso oggetti materiali anche se ricordi di lieti eventi.
I ladri che sono entrati in casa sua approfittando di una circostanza di dolore hanno perso molto di più, hanno perso una grande ricchezza dal valore inestimabile...hanno perso tutta la loro dignità.
