Mr.Wilson

We call my dad, Mr. Wilson. Based on the movie Castaway. He thought it was hilarious a volleyball was named after him and it just kinda stuck from there. You see daddio, is nearing the age of sixth. He refuses to have a hip replacement and love to eat rice, beans, and steak. He is a renaissances Brazilian man.

I love you, daddy!

This man has survived living with three women. He has survived two college tuitions. He has even survived teaching us all how to drive. Daddy, my friend, you are a survivor. Dad loves to watch soccer and eat. Dad loves walking around at the mall and going to our favorite pretzel place on the way home. Dad loves tanning and believes men swim shorts should be short to help his tanning.

Thanks for sticking it out for us!

Dad believes he is the most beautiful man to grace this earth. He checks himself out in the mirror often. If only I could have inherited his confidence. Going bald, losing his teeth, and leaping are all minor details to his greater beauty. He sees it, mom can't believe it, and we all joke about it. Daddo, you are the cutest old man I have the privilege of calling you, dad.

Pae Pae, as we say in Portuguese, was finally lived longer in the US than his home country Brazil. Regardless of what economic or social mayhem occurs he still believes Brazil to be home. Since my grandparents, his parents have both passed he often tears up when the family is around. He misses them dearly and feels a bit lonely without them. I find it odd, that a grown man that lives in another country, out of his parents home for thirty plus years, feels lonely knowing his parents have died.

I don't want to find out, so we agreed he is not allowed to die. He is committed to this agreement, so I might be going early. Anyways, HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
