Traveling Back to CANADA from CHINA!
Hello Steem Blockchain!
I haven't posted in a awhile. The reason is because I had to plan my summer vacation back to Canada!
I haven't been back to Canada in 3 years. Lately, I have been busy with getting my trip ready so I didn't feel like recording any videos prior to me leaving.
I took a 4 hour coach bus to the Beijing airport from Qinhuangdao. Upon arriving to the airport, I got some lunch at a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant inside the airport.
The drink I had was sugarcane juice with lemon grass. Super refreshing!
I arrived at the airport early which allowed me to shoot a bunch of photos and videos. I was excited to see the Air Canada plane pull up and watch the arriving passengers exit the aircraft. Every time I flew to and from China, I have used Air Canada. I would say it is a decent airline but by no means one of the best I have flown with.
My father recommended me to upgrade to an exit seat. This allows me to have much more room to stretch my legs out. 13 hours is a long time to be on an airplane and not having enough leg room could make you feel really anxious and restless. I'm glad I paid the extra $100+ for this seat. I was also able to meet 2 cool people that I sat beside and added on WeChat.
When I arrived back at home, I was so shocked to see the new house that my father built! We used to live in this old house that my father purchased when I was 4 years old. It was a dream come true to see us able to completely demolish the old house and create a brand new house that we are proud of. I am so proud of my father. Coming back home is always awesome!!!
However I visited Canada and I know that it has a lot of common things to European lifestyel, but I would like asking you how many different things there are between the oriental food and western's one.
I see the soup in your photo and I think that it was not so good, but I want to know your opinion. Thank you.
PS: maybe you wrote something about it in a your old post, but I am a your new follower.
The soup was actually pretty good. It was a beef and rice noodle soup. Quite flavourful. Asian food is less processed than Western food in general but Chinese food uses a lot of oil and salt. The spices used are different too.
Have a good trip back! Your families must be happy to see you again. Canada has been on my bucket list for so long, and I missed it last year when all national parks were free to visit! :D
