Why Do People Choose To Fail?

I used to feel bad for everyone!
That man, homeless, Begging for money.
Those employees that hate their job.
That person who wants a career in something, But they never actually get it.

That person who wants so much, But has so little.

All of those wanted Dreams, Gone. Failed.
All those things that you said you wanted but never got.
So many of us, Live a life of regret.

I used to feel sorry for those people.
I always wish I had a million dollars so I could give those people the money they needed to build the exact life they wanted.

But I’m starting to notice a lot of where you end up in life, Is a matter of choice. I’m not saying that people in bad situations deserve it, Sometimes you just get unlucky.

I’m not blaming everyone who is homeless for being homeless. Some are disabled, or they tried their best and things just didn’t work out.

But I do feel like people do NOT do as much as they are capable of. They don’t take responsibility for ANY of their mistakes.

Remember when you were a kid?

Were you invincible? Could you do anything you wanted in the world? You made all these plans for the future, KNOWING you’d be successful. And you’d have everything you could ever want.

What happened to that child in you?

Did he or she get everything she ever dreamed of?
Maybe you should live more like a child; This time, put more into action!

Today, I don’t have much money, but I have a lot of experience.
I have failed many times, but my work ethic prevents me from quitting, I cannot stop.
I am chained to my goals, while this sounds like it’s a good thing. At times it’s like a curse.

Sometimes you need to know when to give up

But that doesn’t seem to work for me.
But others don’t even try.

They fear

  • Rejection,
  • Fear of being uncomfortable
  • Embarrassment,
  • They fear failure
  • But they also fear success.
I do not have money to help people with, But Like I said before I have one resource I can offer

Experience

I was a housekeeper once; I was desperate!
I was in over 15,000 of debt. I had no other choice.
It was one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had in my life.

Those women Work their asses off, For bottom pay

( Be sure to leave a small tip every time you stay at a hotel)
I felt sorry for these women, Many of my coworkers are female, In their late 30’s or early 40’s. They had so little, and it was sad.
They were lovely women, Very talented at their job, Yet here they were Working like slaves for a company that doesn’t give a *** about them.

I didn’t feel like my job was paying me enough, So I looked for other options

I made 8.00 an hour and a hotel, I worked full time, No benefits.
I asked the women who have been working their 5+Years how much raises they got.

  • One lady at two years only got a total 0.10 of raises the two years she was working there.
  • Another lady at 8 Years got a total of 0.40 of raises.

It made me sick.
I kept asking these women why they stayed! They said they had no other options.

I Found another options

I found out that a shipping company would start us at 8.50 an hour, give us a 1.00 raise after three months, and we were guaranteed raises every year. We got free insurance, Tuition reimbursement, and a pension. All we had to do is unload or load a trailer.
I told all my coworkers about it, Instead of considering it, They ignored it.
They spent all day bitching about their jobs, But when they had a great opportunity, they ignored it.

Countless people asked me how I’ve published books, I’ve gone all out sending them tutorials, teaching them how to do it.
How many people have gone all out and wrote a book?

Zero

People are always saying I’m “lucky.”
Because I’m about to become self-employed.

I’m not lucky, It doesn’t take a magic wand, It takes a good work ethic, It takes a long road of working really hard every day to obtain it.

You need to take advantage of the opportunities you get.

Search for other resources. There are millions of free resources online to help you obtain your goals, Steemit, Blogs, Courses, Youtube videos. You name it.

Somehow these people never get what they want.

They choose to fail

I have a coworker who is also an artist; He wants to publish a coloring book. I told him how, I was whiling to help him, and even let him use the expensive software that I purchased.
He made a ton of excuses why he couldn’t.
“ I have five kids.”
“I have bills to pay.”
“I work full time.”
Seriously??
I notice he spends a lot of time on Facebook every day.

People are always making excuses

People always want instant gratification

Excuses are unacceptable if you want to be successful.

People with massive disabilities accomplish the most incredible things! They don’t make excuses!

They don’t complain “I’m TIRED.”
They go after it,
Talk about most people being

LAZY

Would you regret missing that T.V. Show you wanted to watch If you published a book instead?

Would you regret mindlessly browsing your Facebook news feed, If It meant you made a million dollars?

Why are you waiting? What is stopping you?

Why are you so desperate to fail?

Getting what you want out of life is easier than I thought, that’s because I took

BABY STEPS

Those baby steps became…

HABITS

That became.

MY PROGRAMING, MY DAILY LIFE

I don’t even think about it anymore; It doesn’t “affect” me every day in a bad way.
That is why habits can dramatically impact you.
Think about your most time-consuming habits,

  • Movies ?
  • Tv?
  • Videogames?
  • Facebook?
Can you limit some of those?
Some time-consuming habits are good for you! But others are not.

Some of the habits I’ve developed:

  • I run at least 1-2 miles a day every night.
  • I consistently draw when I have nothing to do. It’s great practice!
  • I’m trying to get in the habit of drinking a gallon of water every day.
These took time and persistent they didn’t happen overnight.
Forgive yourself if you don’t do it right the first time, And keep yourself on it. Eventually, it will become second nature; It’s like brushing your teeth.

People start to feel uncomfortable, so they give up, Going back to the same ritual of their regular habits.

What Changes?

Nothing.

Are they helping you fail?

Are you tired all the time? Get up and force yourself to write that book anyways.
In fact, grab a nice glass of water, Because being “Tired” is a sign of dehydration.

Stop listening to those excuses!
Stop your failing!
If you decide to fail in life, Don’t complain about it. It’s annoying.
Its often your choice.
I’m more than happy to help you if you decide to go for it.

But actually, go for it,
Don’t waste my freaking time!

Sort:

I love the habits you have developed.

I also agree, you need to have several options on making money. Good post.

Yes :) several streams of income makes a massive difference.

Some people don't see that they're actually choosing to fail even if it appears that way to a lot of us.

Many of them have learning disabilities, and they can't seem to learn from their mistakes. Luckily, you are someone that has the capability to learn from her mistakes and do better, so congrats. :)

That is a very nice comment, I forgot about the Learning disabilities. I have ADHD, But I see it more as a gift. Because when I get my hyper focus going I feel like I can take the world down.
I feel like people with learning disabilities should also try to find ways to "hack" them. With me I'm very high energy sitting for long periods of time makes me crazy. So I "hack" it by rewarding myself with exercise.

Awesome to hear you've found a path for yourself. I agree, it's easy to feel bad and hard to refrain from helping, but often help when a person is not ready for change is no help at all. Wishing you the best in everything you do!

Its true :) So many people arent' ready for change! Some people are never ready, But I feel like you don't have to be fully ready to take a plunge anyways.

Nope. You have to be ready to change. Even if your not entirely sure what that will mean. It's an adventure and a bit scary at times. It doesn't have to be easy though, it just has to be worth it!

True :) hopefully it's worth it for all of us later on :)

"Dont waste my freaking time! " lins time is very precious!

Of course it is heheh :) The one resource I can never get back!

I know i didn't choose to fail but sometimes no matter how hard you try- a brick wall seems to come out of no where @kaylinart #nevergiveup
Agree with your philosophy- upvoted

Thank you !! I feel like when this happens you should try to find a new way of getting through. Find a way to fly over the brick wall, Or dig under it.

Exactly @kaylinart, glad i'm finding my type of people #keeppositive #word

Woo Hoo :) I'll be checking out your stuff!!

I always try to do best for myself, cause I learn from my mistake in past.
Nice article @kaylinart !

That is good! Learning from your past mistakes changes everything!

You deserve it

Oh my gosh XD hahaha!! That made me laugh!

consistency will beat everything in the end!

Exactly!

"I told all my coworkers about it, Instead of considering it, They ignored it.
They spent all day bitching about their jobs, But when they had a great opportunity, they ignored it." i feel this everyday, when i talk to people about all the onlie opportunities. They just like their 9 to 5, and are afraid to doing something different

Exactly! I feel like with online opportunities there is a massive flexibility. I mean you can have a 9 to 5 job and still come on here and write an article.
You can still work on a book during your weekend free time, I mean there are options. You may have to work extra hard for a while, But It pays off!
