Control Your Life!
People just act like life is about dealing with things that happen to them. Do you not realize how much control you have?
So many people take the safe route. Because then they may not have to deal with potential failure. But often when you aim high And work your ass off you can get pretty close to what you want.
Don't rely on others to get you to where you want to be. Take control and get those things for yourself.
Why Aren't You Happy?
I keep noticing that so many people complain about how much they hate their lives.
Sometimes it's not just that "They Aren't Doing Anything about it." They genuinely have no idea what they want.
And this causes serious issues. How can you make an important decision if you don't know what you want? You can't. Other people will start making decisions for you. No one wants that to happen. The majority of us will have to face that kind of life.
It's important to constantly try new things, And expand your boundaries, so you'll know what you want from life.
Or at least a basic idea, Then you can move from there.
Change Things FAST
I like to see a bad thing like quicksand.
Once I fall in, I can still get out relatively easily. Often, People mistake this as being "Safe." So they stay put Until they become stuck.
They have a job they hate, But they stay put, for now, All the sudden they have a child to support, And they are somewhat stuck because they desperately need the income.
If something is weighing you down, Don't spend much longer being "stuck" come up with a game plan and cut the person, Job, Or opportunity loose as fast as you possibly can.
Come up with a detailed and smart game plan, Then begin executing it as quickly as possible.
Pressure Yourself
This is a tactic I use to get things done!
Sometimes life doesn't put enough pressure on us to get moving. When you pressure yourself, You get to control the amount of pressure in your life, And you can use that as a serious advantage.
I'm using this tactic right now; I haven't been as productive as I was back when I first quit my job. So to pressure myself, I got a part-time job for the holidays so I can earn extra money, Lose weight. But also go back to being more productive.
Having fewer hours available for my business Will force me to focus more heavily on getting stuff done quickly. This is a lot of pressure; I have a ton of big goals that I want to accomplish, And in a way that part-time job will "hold me back." Causing me to stress, and go into overdrive on my business.
Doing things like this to yourself will open so many more opportunities.
Too many people spend every second they can to "relax." To the point, Many people can't even handle the pressure when it starts. This will give you practice, And Allow you to work a lot more and faster.
Don't Be Afraid Of Failure
We avoid failure every day. But the reality is If we want to try something new or change our lives. It's something that has to happen sometimes.
I'll never forget how embarrassing it was to take a motorcycle class; I ended up being the worst in the class by far. I felt embarrassed and ashamed. But ultimately I passed the test and got my endorsement.
It's been a few years now, And I am really happy I went through with that experience. I learned a ton, And sure, I was embarrassed. But there is a really good chance that the people in my class don't remember me at all.
If I had avoided that experience altogether, I never would have had the chance to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Now It's really exciting that I can just buy one, And go riding whenever I want because I already have my endorsement.
You'll never be good at everything on the first try. Sometimes you'll get lucky, and be "Naturally" good. But that is very rare.
The risk is sometimes well worth the reward. It's hard to go out of our comfort and safe zones to take a shot and aim higher and for some, that's all they need is their safe zones. Pressure definitely makes us get a move on, it sure has with my last bit of class work and I am so close to finishing and aiming at a good job as a programmer!
Thank you are always darling, always look forward to your posts. <3
Hehe
Right? Heheh! People just need to go out of their safe zones more often.
hehe thank you so much :) I Had no idea you'd be awake at this time hehe.
I hope you get a damn good job as a programmer :) You've been working way hard for it.

Ah yeah about to head to bed but at least I got to catch your post before I did! :)
Thank you, I will be happy just getting a nice yearly income in any programming job.

Awesome messages!!
Always remember that YOU are de designer of your life.
You can do whatever you want to.
Just take the positive things out of everything. That will help you to be successfull.
Stop complaining, start doing!!
If the life gives you lemons, make lemonade ;)
We can't control what happens to us all the time, but we can always choose how to respond. Freewill lies in the space between stimulus and response.
Taking control of our response, as well as being proactive with what we do want is the key to success and happiness, as far as I'm concerned.
It's not easy though.
I don't hate my job but it restricts my life massively due to the strange hours. I can't join a team or take up an activity as i work different times every week. I have been talking about switching for the past couple of years but the reality is that nowhere else will pay me as well for a similar job.
I actually like the job and the people i work with it's just the hours. Unfortunately, I need the money to pay the mortgage and keep my head above water.
I would love to have the courage to switch and hope that I can still earn enough to live a comfortable life but that's a risk not worth taking at the moment.
You make some great points and if it was just embarrassment you can always recover.
Finding solutions can often be very tough but you are right to say that there is always something that we can do to improve things.
Being able to sacrifice who you are, for who you will become.” – Eric Thomas
When you want something out of life you’ve got to be willing to go into action. Don’t wait around for things to be just right; don’t wait for the right time, don’t wait for the right moment, there will never be a right moment. Start listening to yourself and act on your dreams, don’t allow yourself to put things aside. Part of you will say: “it’s to hard, I don’t have it in me, I don't know how”, but you do. PUSH YOURSELF, fall in love with the progress, and embrace the pain and the difficulty. Realize that every struggle, every moment of pain is a step closer to your goals.
Awesome post and I agree with you - the only failure in life is never trying. Further more we have a lot more control than we think. We just need to remember: Failing to plan is planning to fail. If we don't have a plan than we just rely on randomness to get us to our goal, as opposed to our own will power.
Yes! Love the positivity you give! ❤
Mostly I fall in frustrations. It's destroying my life. Your article help me to come out from frustration.
It looks great,,,,,,,,,,,,,

You are so right about having to pressure oneself to keep moving toward your goals I also have to write everything down so that I stay focused on finishing something I can go back and check it off,
