Yes it hasnt changed yet ! But be careful if you use a hash tag anywhere in your blog or story , it will for some reason think its a tag and give you 5 ! 👍😉
yes, I know. every tag is counted as one.
I was trying to explain that if you use a hashtag ( # ) anywhere in the body of your story like I did in my comments for my fist pick I put the word there #payitforword it went from my story up into my tags ! all by itself i didnt do it . So im letting people know to dont use a hash tag # anywhere in your blog , or you will have 5 tags 😊👍
Yes i know somehow that's unknown way it works because when i was using 5 before and had typo in one , it keeps telling me cannot use more than 5. So, i knew it was considering all tags written in the post whether you list them as tags or not.

Karen, thank you so much for the mention, especially the #payitforward initiative. Honestly didn't think I'd be starting a new one until February but @awesomenyl is getting ready to pop and she needs to get away from those terrible neighbors! Any help from the community is a good one.

ps - edit your blog for only 4 tags until further notice. It hasn't been right since the hardfork so if you use 5 tags only the first one will work.
yes i know all this ! i didnt even put the payitforward tag at the end which gave me 5 tags , i tried 2 or 3 times to edit it and it wont come off , its still only going to the first tag ! co now im getting no upvotes and im over my limit from editing too much , i just did a post about it ! its rediculous that it cant even be fixed afterwards ! especially when i didnt even pu5 that tag there , its very strange ! thanks though !😉
Actually, if you put the hashtag in the body of your post then it's automatically included. You'll have to remove the # from payitforward.
i dont actually use hash tags i just list them where they are supposed to go always only 4 . so thers no # to remove , heres a comment from my blog about it on this subject ! 😉

Hi @karenmckersie, I have it on good authority that it is in the system - I asked why they cannot just void any fifth tag or put a patch or message on the submit page and it - like everything else - is a bit more than a simple edit. My comment involved snails and tortoises but the reply is in the mail!
Patience is a virtue which eludes me sometimes ... for which read 'often'.

ok I finally understood what you meant ! I have now removed it and its all fixed now ! I never knew that and im sure many others dont know eigther ! thanks I will try to watch for that next time ! steem on !😉👍
I learned the hard way with experimenting. Somewhere along the way I also read about the hashtags within the body of the post. It's just something to be aware of. We never think of it until we're trying to edit the darned things! LOL
I'm off to bed now. 3 more working days at Target and then I should be full time on Steemit and art stuff again. :)

For some reason my post keeps adding the payitforward tag at the end of my tags ! giving me 5 tags which is one over , so now my post is only in 1 TAG ! Grrrrrrrrr ! Are they ever going to fix this !!! i tried takeing it off twice and it just keeps going back on !
