Look Forward.
A lot of people look and hold themselves back by living in the past.
While it is good to remember your past and where you came from, it is equally.. if not more important to look to the future.
It is easier to say "Oh that's just the way I am.", harder to say "this is who I am going to be." and even harder to accept that this is who you WERE.
There is a bad side to looking forward depending on your perception of the world. If you think that everything for you is going to be bad, you will think that your future will be bad. This is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
You WILL subconsciously throw yourself into shit to justify your shitty notion of reality.
Instead, think of the future you want to have. Write it down or save it somehow and never show it to anyone. People have different perceptions of reality and at this stage it is important that you focus on yourself with nothing holding you back.
Do not try to change people or shove your vision onto them. It is like a full-time job plus a shit ton of overtime trying to change yourself.
When thinking of the future, throw all your doubts and worry somewhere else. It's just a thought right? Do not limit yourself on the possibilities. Think of a future for all parts of your life whether it be your relationships, financial, and even health aspects of your life. What do you want to have?
Not what you think you can have.. if someone asked you what do you want to have if you do not have any limitations? The first answer you think of should be the right one.
When you think of this, it is usually uncomfortable but also very pleasant because you are opening up to yourself what you hold back.
Don't dwell on shit you cannot change. Dwell on the future and how to achieve the right one for you.
Our past does not have to define our future.
Why not use our past as research and development and learn from them instead?
