Fitness blog # 4 : Don't screw up your bodies

in #life6 years ago (edited)

Hello steemians. This is your guy JBN with Fitness Blog # 4 in which I will tell you about why do you need to do full body exercise and how not to screw up your bodies. I am going to make this short since i realized that my past fitness posts were way too long to read.

Why do i need to do full body exercise

Most people think that they go to gym to build muscle.. that is a huge lie. You dont go to gym to build muscles. You go there to break your muscles. Actually the muscle building part is taken care of by your diet regime and your body itself (when it is in recovery mode).

Thats why it is important to do full body exercise in gym. Just by mere running or doing push ups, you are not exposing your complete body to restructure itself but only parts of it. That is also why it is very important never to miss out any muscle group while you are training in gym (yes.. i am talking about those nasty legs days)

How not to screw up your bodies

I have said this a lot of times and i will say it again. Your body is extremely intelligent and is not a gum-ball. Human body, just as all the other things in nature tend towards equilibrium. It rejects any unnatural design within itself. So, in case you are wondering that you just want to make your legs strong while keeping the upper body as it is (fluffy and full of fat), you are sadly mistaken.

I will have you known that i have made this mistake and while trying construct my upper body, i left out legs initially. After 8 months of work out, apart from looking ridiculous, i noticed that my upper body also stopped growing no matter how much i ate or lifted. Then i started doing legs work out as well. Within 2 months, my upper body started to grow as well.. and my strength to pick up more upper. Ody weights grew as well. Nature abhors unnatural structures and designs (please keep that in mind)

Does it also apply to people who are trying to shred?

A big yesss. by same logic, if you are trying to reduce fat in your body and trying to get slim, just by running and doing crunches, you cannot achieve that. You will achieve that to some extent but afterwards, yoir progress will stop. Train all your body parts equally and you will be wondering in future that how the heck training your triceps helped you reduce overall fat from your body.

I will be back with my fitness blog # 5 where i will tell you about some common gym and diet mistakes that beginners often make (sometimes, even veteran builders too).

What are some good exercises to avoid getting belly fat? I work on desk most of the time. And find it harder to go to gym.

Well firstly i would recommend going to gym. Because you are more focused there and also different machines are available for a more thorough workout.

But if you cannot find time to go to gym, then i have a 2fold plan to reduce belly fat at home.

  1. Exercises :- diamond pushups, half crunches while your feet are under a table or any support with bent knees (end point : your face should meet your knees)
, half crunches while your feet and legs until knee joint are on bed (end point : starting out flat lying on ground and then reaching to half), wide pushups, planks 1 minute each set, sitting on bed or table and pulling your knees towards your face. (All these exercises with 3 sets and each set should contain 10-14 reps and in case of planks 1 minute for each set)

  2. Diet : in the morning, eat half a bowl yogurt with some almonds mixed in it, eat two cucumbers during breaktime (before lunch) with skin, one glass of warm water with one tablespoon honey in evening and eat 75% of dinner (means your stomach should have space for 25% more food but you should not eat it). Rest you can eat anything anytime except coke, soft drinks, cheese, sugar, excessive oil, all pupose flour.

Follow this for 2 months, you will see the difference.. if you didn't understand any of the exercises, then let me know, i will send you graphical illustration of it..

Thank you so much for reading.. regards
