Homeless Man Speaks - This May Change Your Perspective

In this time of such wealth and prosperity it is a great shame and sadness that our elected governments spend such astronomic amounts on military budgets each year while so many of the citizens of the same countries are malnourished and living in abject poverty.
        United Nations has calculated that to solve the world hunger crisis would cost $30 billion a year. It may seem like a large sum of money, but when compared to the U.S. defense budget – $737 billion in 2012 – $30 billion seems more attainable.
        It gives great perspective to note that the Queen of England is so wealthy she could eradicate world hunger with her own personal funds! As could a number of other world leaders and industrialists. They are clearly happy with the status quo as they could change the situation any time they wish. But they do not wish for change for an instant! The suffering of so many is actually an intrinsic part of their business plan.
        We need to make changes to our society at the most fundamental level... I urge all to get involved with politics and not allow powerful minorities to control the masses with such impunity any longer. I believe the best way to beat our politicians and councillors is to actually become politicians! That is to say that if more real people that are motivated by the common good rather than personal enrichment were to run for local and national government the necessary changes could come also, from within.

Quantum physicists and mystics now agree... we ARE all one! Any pain caused to another plant, animal or being will effect us ALL in a subtle yet powerful way.
