Mission FAB: Forging the path to Success and Personal Bests

FAB JOURNAL.jpg

The path to the Dream Home in the Countryside, where we can have lots of pets and a Chauffeur driven car (I will attempt driving lessons, but still a Chauffeur called Adams would be rather awesome)!

Through...

  • Financial freedom
  • Attaining Aspirations
  • Being Beautiful Inside and Out

  • Fab Journal Post Everyday/maybe second Steemit post too for whole month, I'll see how we go time wise on this one

  • Mail to my list Everyday (which could potentially posted as a Steemit post too).

  • Looking at ‘new’ income streams outside of Steemit, like domain and website flipping and ecommerce (will completely outsource the ecommerce)

  • Meditation every morning

  • March Mastering of House Task: Dishes

  • Look after me better

Along with all these will come with better time management and I try to stay in the moment and be aware when I drift away from the task in hand and make notes of what I do, so I can manage these tasks with ease and without stress.

Financially Free: Core Activities

Fab Journal Post Everyday/maybe second Steemit post too for whole month, will see how we go time wise on this one

Today I managed 3 posts, if I get this up by midnight!

The Great Big How to Get Free Steem Power Experiment Part 2

The Great Big How to Get Free Steem Power Experiment Part 3

The ideas for posts are coming thick and fast at the moment, so I’d better write them down before I forget.

Mail to my list Everyday (which could potentially posted as a Steemit post too).

Wrote an email about General Patton and how he left behind “Abandoned Rear”. Definitely one to include in a Steemit post, maybe I’ll do two tales in one post, as I’m pretty sure the bird in the shower one would raise a few laughs too.

Reusing content, pukka use of time.

Aspirations

Looking at ‘new’ income streams outside of Steemit, like domain and website flipping and e-commerce (will completely outsource the e-commerce)

I suppose thinking about this properly. I want to do these things , just because I want to try new things and I might enjoy them.

Really I should concentrate on my core Steemit posts, emailing my list and growing that list.

We will see where the month takes us on this goal.

Beautiful Inside and Out

Meditation every morning

This is going ok, I may try to fo this 3 times a day to balance myself as it os such a nice peaceful place to be for a little while.

March Mastering of House Task: Dishes

Ok, so its not Saturday, its Sunday, but I got them ALL done. I am kinda looking forward until tomorrow though, as its Monday and we go out for dinner on Mondays, so it will literally be just the kids breakfast bowls.

Diary

This weekend we discovered that Sylvastor is a bully and keeps biting and pulling the hair of Little One. (They are the guinea pigs).

My Dad took me out to dinner yesterday, so I actually got something decent in my tummy.

The kitchen is almost ship shape as well as getting all the dishes done, so that will be good to maintain.

Tomorrow, I am starting a Story Sack course, so its time to get crafty again and get a life outside my computer.

I have a free version of one of the dating sites and now it’s emailing me pictures of men that have a certain look. I wasn’t aware I waas looking at a 'certain' type of profile until they sent me an email of 20 almost identical men - all with dark hair and stubble. Hmmm.

(Yes, still just looking - window shopping, there is hope that all the good ones aren’t taken)

Hi @hopehuggs

According to my regional time zone, your 3rd post was published in a new day. But you already fulfilled your goal of posting 2 posts a day. Congrats.

What kind of site are you wishing to create? Is it a blog or shopping site?

And best wishes to your new Story Sack course. Happy time outside computer as well.

Sincerely
@r-k-m

The site I am working is essentially just promoting a clickbank product.

The story sack course was great, thank you. I will enjoy getting out and talking to some real life people!

Oh, so now I get what FAB means. Thanks :) Those are good goals to have. And as for doing the dishes? I wouldn't manage if we didn't have a dishwasher. It simply takes too much time to wash them by hand.

Yes, I'm seriously thinking about how to get a dishwasher, but there is no place for it to live or be plumbed in this place. Will have to add that to the final dream goal.

Looking at ‘new’ income streams outside of Steemit, like domain and website flipping and ecommerce (will completely outsource the ecommerce)

I suggest you get all the projects done that you are currently on and start thinking about becoming a witness.

You got the cash and the followers to do that.

I have to admit becoming a witness is not something I have ever considered. I may well look into it more in the near future.

I like your list and think it's very doable. I think that's the key to success: making a plan that you can actually tick off things you get done then move on. Aren't dishes a pain? I wash mine by hand and seem to use so many! Oh well, when I need a break from the computer I head over and wash them. It never takes me more than 15 minutes so I should do them at least once a day! haha! Looking forward to seeing what new business ventures you take on. Besides Steemit, I have my hand in fiction writing, writing PLR products, and selling items on Etsy. I like the variety but just wish something would take off and pay better!

Hi Peggy - I'm in a similar position. Apart from that I have a slimline dishwasher (had to train myself to use it though - after a lifetime of taking dishes to the sink and then washing them when the pile gets high). But I write fiction, and PLR, and I suppose my ghost writing is in the place of your Etsy.

The plan thing is key though, isn't it? Actually having one to start with can be a big step to take on some days. I spend a lot of days feeling like I am playing catch-up with myself and plans can easily go out of the window then. But I do love the planning lists where I can tick things off because I actually did them. Not many other things feel as good as that. I'm getting better at chunking tasks down so that I can actually do them - I used to write things like 'Set up Website' but now I break that down into things I can actually achieve step by step, like 'Install Wordpress', 'Delete Plugins', 'Install Theme' etc.

I'm a lot more content when I make time to meditate too, so that should be on my daily list of things. I find that meditating helps me tackle everything else. I just feel more grounded, more capable.

I wonder though about spreading my efforts too widely and thin. It's tempting to cast my net wide to see if anything will bite, but I think that the times in my life that I have seen the best results have all been when I applied myself with focus and limited the distractions and diffusions. I have to fight my ego which says loud and clear that I should be able to do anything and everything... I have to remind myself to concentrate on my core activities too.

Nice to meet you, @powerfulwonders. Yes, as I was writing my comment, I thought about the whole spreading myself too thin thing! I would love for my fiction writing to sell better but until it does I feel like I have to do other things too. Focus is key. Some days I tell myself: You got X and Y done today. That's good. >>> And I leave it at that. I can only do so much!

This first week on Steemit has been a real lesson to me in terms of spreading myself to thinly - how ironic! Am soldiering on though, determined to build up momentum. :-)

I hope to do the e-commerce route for sure this week, by at least finding someone to outsource it too. I will need to reeducate myself on the domain/website flipping, so will see if that is doable this month on top of all the other bits and pieces.

Hi from snowy Wales :-) Paul here, and I'm very happy to be here all thanks to you!

I bought 'Post2Profit' and not only is Steemit a great place just like you said, but your guidance and advice are thorough and super helpful. Really, really good job on that product and I'm still re-reading it and getting lots of ideas from tips you crammed in that I didn't always spot on the first few reads.

Not only that but your follow-up emails have been superb and again, really helpful (e.g. when my account application stalled and I hadn't had the email I needed to approve, and presto! you had written a post detailing how to fix that and you emailed about it too so I couldn't miss it.) and you make me feel very supported. So thank you for that too!

What you do; the way you do it; and who you are; are all a big inspiration to me and I am so heartened to look through your posts and find you being by turns brilliant, vulnerable, open, passionate, hesitant, purposeful, etc. You can't hear me but I am applauding! :-)

So many of the issues you blog about are my issues too, and that's great for me because if I was hesitant about what to post about here on Steemit, your examples are a real door-opener and I feel pretty free to post about anything, which feels good!

So basically I came here to comment and blow your trumpet for you because you've been such a big help to me already. Thanks too for putting me onto @drakos because he helped me get my stalled application sorted after 12 days in no-man's land.

Best wishes to you and your family, and thanks for helping me to arrive here on Steemit! :-)

Paul

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement Paul, I'm sure you will do awesome on Steemit. I can see that straightaway by your thoughtful comments.

Hey Mam! How are you? I hope you are fine and doing great here on steemit!
I just read your pdf guide about steemit And believe me, i never read anything with this much interest in my whole life and I got the hell of knowledge from it,
Steemit levels :p SENSEI SPLINTER ooooohoooooo, it is surprising to know that no has yet achieved this level.
I'm going to achieve it ;) hahaha :p
One other question can I use binance For conversion like you used Coincorner.com?
I really Appriciate the work you have done for this community :)
I'm trying my level best to spread this platform, this great platform,
I made my three friends to join it and they are here on steemit.
My goal is to spread more in my Country.
I'm From Pakistan!
Have a Good Day!
ps: Ignore my grammar mistakes as I'm a learner and learning English!

That is awesome @abdulmanan, Steemit is changing lives for sure and using it everyday will only improve your English.

Yes, I believe Binance is another exchange facility.

Thank you so much For your reply mam!
It really an honor for me to talk to you ;)
Thanks for the information.
and the information you provided in your article is like a gold to minnows like me :)

Oh! I forget to ask, can you give us information about the charges each transaction takes?
How much will they charge us for a transaction?

I believe it is different for every exchange, so you'd need to look into that yourself.

:) Thank you, Mam!

Ahhw I am sad to hear for your daughter her Guinea pigs are not friendly to each other. I hope that the big one is at least sweet to your daughter and she doesn't get bitten!

I share your dream of financial freedom. I am scared to work in an office or some, I worked on the farm before my travels but that kind of job is not forever in the Netherlands. My dream is becoming a blogger on steemit but it is difficult for me. So many fish in the sea! I am very curious how you are going to do it, but you are already doing so well on steemit! You have an awesome mind!

The guniea pigs seem to be behaving. They do like to nibble fingers, but probably because they look like something that might be nice to eat.

There are so many opportunities these days online, it is about choosing, focussing and sticking to one and when you have mastered that, only then do you move on to looking and adding the next opportunity .

Great job on getting your dishes done! Those have always been a dreaded task for me that would pile up. I made them a 'non-negotiable' task that I have to get done each day. I've also found that limiting the amount of dishes that are available really helps to keep the amount of dishes needing washing done. We have two of each item for everyone in the family, so there is no grabbing a clean one if the sets are dirty.

I love your FAB goals and how you are breaking down each section into acheiveable goals. The perfect way to create a FABulous life.

Yes, I do have a rather a lot of plates, knifes and forks and studd, just don't have the heart to get rid of them (yet). Breaking things down into acheiveable goals is new this month, but it definitely helps me keep on track.

It was really hard for me to get rid of the dishes and cutlery too. I'm a hoarder by nature and it took a lot of work to be able to let go.

being fab everyday in and out :D

Well I will believed you have maintain your target for this month so far. At least you do post daily on steemit. And also working on your new income stream I believe , and your normal daily morning meditation which is good for your health and well-being.

I hope you enjoy your dinner with your Dad, waiting for your story sack course just to see how it goes...

Thank you @obest. I keep working. I am going through all my comments, messages and emails just now. That's my task for today.
