RE: The Crisis: Global Mass Migration

in #life7 years ago

from another perspective:
Migration would be safer if it was legal
Migration is a right
Humans have feet for a reason! we are not trees
why make those rules(like visas) to prevent people from shoosing where to live ?
no human is illegal if we apply that, migration will be something as normal as tourism, not "a disaster"

Sort:

Migration is our right, but in a situation whereby those who are emigrating do not worth granting visa or asylum. For example, in my country, I know of many who have no skill or educational background trying to get to Europe by lying to the world that there is an ongoing war in my country which is a very big lie.

Ok who's to blame if they had no other chance to get in if they dont lie?
they probably "have no skill" but do you think every european citizen has "a skill" ?
What's the difference between them other than the pace they were born in? (which was not their choice by the way)
PS: I mean no offence I just wanted to debate because I find this topic very interesting and I can easily relate to those emigrants.

I agree, I've been migrating my whole life around the globe. No one has a right to the place they were born, the Earth isn't a gold-rush where you stake your claim and then fight everyone who comes too close. Earth is a public transport we spend our time in from cradle to grave. Like a bus or an elevator. When more people come on the elevator, you scoot over so everyone gets as much space as they need to survive, otherwise you're an asshole. Imagine a couple assholes who got on the elevator at the top floor, going down. They demand that half the space is theirs, and everyone else has to squeeze into a corner, no matter if they suffocate and die. That's what the West, particularly America, is doing today. BTW Americans want to really keep America for Americans? Then give it back to the natives.
