Everyone is responsible for shaping his or her life either a bed of roses or a bed of thorns. In every field of life Success never comes to you on its own. You have to attempt hard to achieve it. Success is not the ladder which can be climbed with your hands in the pocket.
As the example of climbing the ladder says to reach the top you have to jump every single step on the ladder. Same is the matter with the success of life.
Cheerful and cheerless moments are part of everyone's life.
If cheerless moments are not faced, one can never feel the value of the cheerful moments. Adversity makes you powerful and capable enough to bear the whole critical period that you meet going through the different stages of life to make you stronger both physically and mentally. So adversity is that significant part of life which leads you towards the prosperous future. Hard times are like washing machines, they twist, turn and knock us around, but in the end, we come out cleaner, and brighter better than before. So you have to come up and get the life because life never waits for anyone. If you are facing trouble and pain or un-success, never think that life has become useless for you. Because there is a morning after every night that comes up with full of glow that shines up your day. And if you are facing crises then do think that the success is building its way to you. All you have to get through all the problems facing happily which will bring you closer to a better future surely. Tomorrow never dies so never lose your hope and always keep in mind the beautiful pictures that are continually made from the negatives in the dark room.
People usually are selfish and mean.
People usually are selfish and mean. They hurriedly want to go forward from one another keeping their feet on distance. There is an of cut-throat competition in today's world. People have forgotten their values and ethics. Money is everything for them. The meaning of success has been changed. Rich people look down upon the poor or the people who are of lower according to their status. They never want to help others.
Everyone needs to learn to be supportive and optimistic.
Today it needs for everyone to learn to be supportive and optimistic. Everyone needs to love himself/herself before then only others will love them in return. That's why they have to become mentally and physically stable to face conflicts in the society.
So everyone will have to perceive that all of life's doors are not sealed. There is no need to be hopeless because of the failure. They are not the only one struggling in this vast sea like the world. There are a lot of other people also who are also flowing with them in the same boat and trying to reach their destinations.
It is better to be joyful and accept every failure with the smile on your face and secure it to experience.
There are ups and downs in life.
Life is like a stream of the river which flows through a lot of phases. Hope is the only power which makes us stand at different aspects of life. Life is just a subtotal of few minutes, hours and days. That's why live it confidently and strongly without taking tensions.
Finally, I would like to say, never forget your values, morals, and ethics and don't break anyone's heart by showing your pride or irritating behavior. Try to help others always...

Those who think that life is a bed of roses who live in a fools Paradaise. I have red this idiom in my childhood. Now after many years of experience i can say life is full of challenges and opportunities. It is depend upon our actions. If we are positive then life is very beautiful and attractive. One has a lot of wealth, all facilities, a family, a well job and all things which are usually idealized for a comfortable life. But still he is not happy because he is not a contended person he himself has made life difficult for him. Because he thinks so....
On the other hand a person has no above mentioned facilities and he struggles hard but still happy because he thinks so....
Simple
For a pessimist person life is a bed of thorns.
For an optimist person life is a bed of rose

Every one should try to lead a contented life.
A pessimist thinks everybody is as nasty as himself, and hates them for it. but an optimist will always think positively. If we expect the best, we'll never be disappointed.
Well said brother. In this materialistic world, greed and selfishness is all around and everyone is chasing money, and would do everything for money. But like you said, dealing with such people and adverse situations makes us stronger. If everything goes smooth in one's life, he/she would find it really hard to handle adverse situations.
Yeah... Dealing with a bad situation can be a lot like dealing with grief, and people often go through the same stages: pain and guilt, anger and bargaining, and so on. You might not be able to fully squelch your emotions, but you can decide to accept what happened, regardless of how you feel about it.

This prepares you for the life to come. Its again like a perfect harmony, though that never exists, but again life is a harmony of bouqet of roses & bed of thorns. ... So basically life is a mixture of roses & thorns which varies from person to person. And one should enjoy both of them with the same approach.

Really life is full of sweet and bitter. It can be full of thorny issues. We also know that the rose produces beautiful flowers which are also very delicate. The same is true of life. Life has its rosy and fragile side.

Life is a constant struggle
It is upon us whether we enjoy this struggle or not. It is a constant journey during which we have to pass through different paths.... Some rocky, some smooth and many more......
Time never remains same and similarly in life a person falls from thorns to flowers and flowers to thorns.
Life is the name of constant struggle..that is very good point.. No doubt life is full of twists and turns, love and loss. And life would not be worth experiencing if it weren't just that. You can't have the good without the bad, you need to somehow learn to accept the bad and adjust it in a way that you can endure and overcome.

There is no life if without any movement . Life is full of ups and downs . In fact each day has its own best and the worst moment. These moments define our character , our susceptibility to the lows and delectation when on a high.
But one thing for sure is its the downs which make the ups so worthwhile.

life is what we make it with our efforts, thinking and in reaction of others thinking. Sometime we make our own life miserable and we think someone else did it, however if we drill down the reason we will found our own action or mistake.
