personal opinion by example
One has a lot of wealth, all facilities, a family, a well job and all things which are usually idealized for a comfortable life. But still he is not happy because he is not a contended person he himself has made life difficult for him. Because he thinks so....
On the other hand a person has no above mentioned facilities and he struggles hard but still happy because he thinks so....
Simple
For a pessimist person life is a bed of thorns.
For an optimist person life is a bed of rose

Every one should try to lead a contented life.
A pessimist thinks everybody is as nasty as himself, and hates them for it. but an optimist will always think positively. If we expect the best, we'll never be disappointed.
