Today I will begin breaking down the 17 laws of success as outlined by Napoleon Hill famous book entitled Laws of Success. I hope you enjoy this summary and that it provides you some value that you can take with you and use in your daily life. I also want to thank @dakster for inspiring me in his breakdown of rich dad poor dad where he used Steemit in his examples to highlight different points. I will aim to include Steemit in my examples when possible. Now on to the first law:

The First Law of Success

The Master Mind

"You cannot enjoy outstanding success in life without power, and you can never enjoy without sufficient personality to influence other people to cooperate with you in a spirit of harmony." -N. Hill

A master mind when two or minds come together to form an alliance. I find it very meaningful that this Hill's first law and first glance it appears one could just say its like having a team. However Hill is making a new distinction different from just the common idea we know of as a team. In other words it's more than just the simple addition of people into a group. Its the idea that through the bringing together or blending, in a spirit of perfect harmony, of two or more minds that a new third mind is created that is greater than the addition of its parts (1+1=3). This concept gets deepened and enriched when the members of the group bring unique and/or specialized knowledge or skills to the group. The suborenating of the individual mind to the group is what creates the Master Mind. When these harmonious minds are directed to a purpose the master mind can achieve what ever it wishes.
This platform is a great example of this principle in action. Let me show you what I mean. First lets assume that most of us are here for the purpose of getting paid to create quality content. I know this may not be true for all but its close enough to demonstrate this idea. There are many people who have set up the platform, maintain the network, created the different ways its monetized, all with specialized knowledge that has little to do with blogging AND is essential for the creation and ongoing inner workings of the platform. Then there are the content creators who create and curate the content. When all these different minds come together and work in harmony we get this powerful platform where the purpose is achieved. Steemit as a platform is a master mind group in action and its working.
