Stay Ahead Of The Crowd
It is a world of hustle and bustle, getting things done as fast as possible. Sometimes you need to observe things and not rush out to do things. You need to take time to relax and you most likely come up with new plans better than what you are currently doing.
Routine brings stagnation and stagnation is slow death. Always look around and focus on how you can improve on whatever you are doing now. Observe things around and notice what the successful people especially are doing. Doing what the majority are doing will only get you mediocre results.
An observer and action taker will most of the time do better than someone with a burst of energy not properly directed. Like the analogy of two men with given axes to cut down trees. One set out using all his energy with a blunt axe and started cutting with all his strenght.
But the observer 'observed' axe and determined he will need to sharpen his tool to be more efficient and effective. he did sharpen his axe and his task less daunting and faster than the other person that just set out without observing his tools.
To take time out to observe what you have been doing, what others are doing and research different tools and strategies that can make you more productive. That is a sure way of staying ahead of the crowd. The crowd rarely wins and when they do, it is not always big. So stay ahead of them.
