Thoughts about education 'System' ..

In yesterday's post , which you can find https://steemit.com/life/@giosou/questions-about-eduction-why-isn-t-the-school-fun , I expressed some questions about education system. In this post I will write about my thoughts relative to these questions .

Why does a kid have to wake up at 07:00am or in some cases 05:00am in order to catch the bus for school?
My thoughts on this question are that practically students have to be at school ,the same time their parents are at work right? Ok but practically also, human body isn't ready to respond in any activity correctly so early in the morning without a proper rest of 8 hours sleep. So in my opinion the earlier time for going at school should be 09:00am.
Why does school is considered as an obligation and not fun?
-This is because students have to watch 5-7 hours classes every day until about 13:30-14:00pm and then return home for study for the next day lessons.
-Lessons are usually boring and being taught by Teachers who have lost their interest in many cases ,as they watch their salary becoming smaller every year and in many cases with Teachers that happened to become ones for living but not because of loving this and not having passed any psychological tests which should certificate that they are cable to handle a classroom with kids of different behaviors.
-And for students it doesn't end there . In most cases(if parents can afford it ) they have to watch foreign languages classes in private institutes and also classes in private institutes for the lessons they do at school. Why ? Because otherwise the chances to succeed in the exams for entering a University are very small.
-All these bring the student back at home at 21:00-22:00pm every day. This means that childhood is lost. No time left for it..
-It's one of the reasons why kids are so raged in our times. And evolve to raged adults.
Reasonable if you think that they go from 4 walls classes to 4 walls classes the whole day until late night.. No time for rest , no time for play , no time for social activity.
-Many times I watch the teenagers or early adults in cafeterias ,sitting with their mobiles in front of their faces and messaging unstoppably without saying an oral word to each other in their company. Tragic !!!!!
- I believe that the 'system' is preparing them to replace their parents in specific work conditions and it's doing a very good job ! Humans are transforming to robots quickly.

While I agree with you, we still have to identify the root as to why our educational system has come to this. This may well be just my opinion, but I think it's the lack of love for learning that makes us and other students alike to think this way.
When the time comes when we find learning to be enjoyable and fun, it wouldn't be a chore to wake up at 5 or 7 AM to catch the bus, to read books and other required materials, or to study for exams. It would be okay for us because we love what we do. And it's that love, that appreciation, which will keep us going.
So why is there lack of love? Precisely with what you said. Students are expected to act in a certain way, to think in a certain way that it limits them. They become robots just saying what the teachers want to hear. It's quite sad, really.

There is lack of love for learning because books are been written in a non interesting way and Teachers (not all) are not interested to make the lesson interesting either. At least this is happening here in Hellas(Greece). The only thing this 'system' wants is to create beings that will obey without questioning.. It' s easier to be manipulated this way.

I think that's a very major factor. Not to mention that the manner of teaching is so very systematic that most of the time the goal is for the students to spew out exactly what the teachers say. It restricts critical thinking and, in my opinion, makes students less human because they don't get to think as humans are supposed to.
It's happening here in the Philippines as well, and it saddens me greatly that I can't really do anything about it. It's a social norm and should someone choose to stop pursuing a degree, it would be very difficult for him to become successful.
It happens there too ah ? Then it's called Globalization !
Yes, unfortunately so! I guess even the bad things get globalized! It's a tragic thing, I might say.

I would like to add that the education system treats us as robots in rooms taking the same exams, learning the same lessons, and getting the same training. Killing creativity and individuality and preparing us to be robots that work in factories.
Times are changing, technology is advancing, people are different, but for some reason the education system hasn't changed in the last 100+ years or so.
Unfortunately we are both right and I guess more and more people realize that every day. On the other hand this (more people realize) could be the spark in order things change.

Οι γονεις δν μεγαλωνουν τα παιδια τους σωστα κ με αρχες το οποιο μετα κ το παιδι το υοθετει στο μερος π συχναζει περισσοτερο δλδ σχολειο. στο γυμνασιο κ στο λυκειο δε το ξεφτιλιζουν, φωναζουν ουρλιαζουν σαν ηλιθια το παιζουν μαγκια ιστορια τοσο σε παιδια που θελουν προσεξουν κ να διαβασουν οσο κ σε καθηγητες
Η πλακα σε ολο αυτο ειναι οτι με τις νεες νομοθεσεις π εχουν περαστει απο την κυβερνηση σαμαρα ο καθηγητης εχει λιγη εως καθολου εξουσια και τι εννοω με αυτο, αν πει σε ενα παιδι περνα εξω γτ χαλας το μαθημα το παιδι οπως σχεδον παντα θα πει οχι ( γτ το παιζει μαγκας) και ο καθηγητης δν μπορει να το αναγκασει να βγει εξω. Αν το αγγιξει ειναι λογος να χασει τν δουλεια του, αν τον βρισει το ιδιο οποτε η πρεπει να σταματησει το μαθημα τελειως ( αρα ποιος κερδιζει σε αυτην την υποθεση?) η να φωναξει διευθυντη και αντε βγαλε ακρη και εκει, δλδ για 1 λεπτο υποθεση ερχονται τα πανω κατω και χαλαει ολη η διαδικασια μαθησης
Επισης επειδη ειμαι απο τα δυτικα προαστια ( δεν ξερω τι ακριβως γινεται σε αλλες περιοχες στο συγκεκριμενο θεμα) υπαρχουν ομαδες ''παιδιων'' που στην κυριολεξια απειλουν τους καθηγητες τους χαραζουν αμαξια κ γενικοτερα τους προκαλουν φοβο χωρις να μπορουν να κανουν τπτ. Εκει μπαινει η αστυνομια κανονικα αλλα ελα που δν γινεται τπτ και γτ? ( γτ ειναι κ οι ιδιοι υπο τον ''ελενχο'' αυτων των ομαδων) αμα ψαξεις για μια μεγαλη συμμορια π επιασε η αστυνομια περυσι την περιοχη μας θα καταλαβεις κ τι εννοω και ποιους)
Τελοσ, αν κ δν υπαρχει τελος γτ ειναι μγαλη συζητηση αυτη κ αμα θες κ σε τσατ μπορουμε να μιλησουμε οι γονεις ειδικα στο δημοτικο εχουν στο μυαλο τους οτι τα παιδια τους ειναι οι επομενοι αινσταιν και αγγελοι, οποτε και δν δεχονται τις συμβουλες των καθηγητων, φωναζουν βριζουν με αποτελεσμα ολο αυτο να γυρναει πισω στο παιδι και στην εξελιξη του.

Φυσικά και φταίνε και οι γονείς. Ωστόσο όπως αναφέρω ο χρόνος που έχουν οι γονείς στη διάθεσή τους είναι μέχρι το παιδί να ξεκινήσει να πηγαίνει σχολείο. Περίπου 5 χρόνια δηλαδή, μέσα στα οποία θα πρέπει να του περάσουν (αν έχουν τη διάθεση και αν τους ενδιαφέρει και αν έχουν οι ίδιοι) αξίες , ιδανικά, συμπεριφορές(καλούς τρόπους-σεβασμό) κ.τ.λ. Κατα τη γνώμη σου είναι τυχαίο που αφαιρέθηκε το δικαίωμα αποβολής από τους εκπαιδευτικούς ; Όλα συγκλίνουν στο να χάνουν εκατέρωθεν το ενδιαφέρον τους ,Καθηγητές-Μαθητές και να πέφτει το επίπεδο.
καθολου τυχαιο δν ειναι, για αυτο κ στο προηγουμενο ποστ σου ειχα πει οτι ολα ειναι θεμα πολιτικης κ κρατους. Το σχολειο κ το πανεπιστημιο σαν δομη μια χαρα ειναι αλλα ολο το υπολοιπο συστημα το οδηγει απο το κακο στο χειροτερο. Επισης θεωρω οτι οι γονεις συνεχιζουν κ παιζουν σημαντικο ρολο κ μετα τα 5 χρονια. Οταν το παιδι στο σπιτι ακουει τους γονεις να βριζουν και να μην δειχνουν σεβασμο ειδικα στις ηλικιες του δημοτικου, το περνα στο μυαλο του σαν κατι νορμαλ κ οκ κ αντιστοιχα αν λογω δουλειας κ οι 2 γονεις ειναι συνεχεια απων απο το σπιτι τοσο πιο δυσκολο ειναι να καθοδηγησουν το παιδι
