'Sharada Pooja' at Mangalore #Festivals
Hi Friends... This is the Navaratri time in India and so is in our small city - Mangalore.
During these nine days, on the 5th or Panchami day, Ma Saraswathi(Sharada), is being worshiped by keeping an idol (made of clay material) in many Temples. Today is the last day and she is taken on a procession inside the city and we call this as 'Visarjan Ustav'...
So these are some pictures of this 'Ustav' or the last day of the festival...

Beautiful and cute sarde ma hai geetharao Ji. Hamare Yaha bhi bahut Sundar davi durga ki murti sthapit hui thi Kal visarjan tha.,
