"Job Creators" & "Too big to fail"

in #life6 years ago (edited)

This is just a manipulation of words to create a positive opinion of the businesses that we all work for, many of which, are putting more and more work on less employees.

It is a manipulation of words to make you not think about ALL of the business opportunity sucked out of EVERY industry by MULTI-NATIONAL Corporations so large, that their main objective is to crush the souls of every other business in their industry.

All while paying billions of dollars to lobbyists and politicians to make barrier of entry into their domain even harder.

They often choose what is in the best interest of profits, and rarely what is best for us.

They push forward products and services they know are faulty and dangerous because there is no criminal accountability, and any fines can be paid off while still profiting handsomely.

We the people, are in fact the BUSINESS CREATORS. Without us, they are nothing. They need our labor and they need our money for profits. THEY CAN NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT US.

The idea that we need to compete with other Countries for business is a farce. And this is why......Americans are by far the most coveted market for companies. We have stable, safe cities and a police force(that we pay for) that protects these businesses for free.

Aside from that, when we bend over backwards to embrace these huge corporations with tax breaks etc, what we are really doing is letting them continue to retain and control virtually all the OPPORTUNITY we have in this Country.

These big corporations have consistently made decisions to the detriment of our Country, and even when caught, are often only given a fine and no one held criminally accountable no matter how many lives they destroyed knowingly.

On average, a company makes $100 an hour profit per employee.

Great post!

Greetings friend, it is always a pleasure to hear from you!

"More and more work, fewer employees"

The words just, Venezuela due to the crisis has reduced to a minimum the number of employees and many no longer have to not pay a salary, what before they made approximately 10 employees now do 3, this is total madness.

Thanks to the employees a company produces, delivers on time the work, without that the company would be nothing, unfortunately the vast majority of employers abuse their employees and how they have needs, family and small children have to endure, the overload of work by a miserable salary.

Pay them so little that they have to keep coming back, is the corporate philosophy. It is slavery, but we get given slips of useless paper instead, from which the salve master (the government) takes to give you the illusion that you're part of a fairy tale known as a nation.

If you're in Venezuela, all the best!

Yes, I live in Venezuela where the employees are hard hit by very little salary and almost no benefits

Thanks for your comment!

These are my favourite words from your post, but I agree with every single one of the other ones that you wrote too.

The lack of any accountability where it touches profit is the height of "ethics"; even if it will legitimately kill the end users of of a product, service, or incentive that the company is developing in exchanging for more capital.

It becomes a layered, insidious web when the "retirement" fund the government mandates you must hold is mainly held in these unsustainable, unethical, planet destroying companies.

Never-mind the human suffering today with long hours, exploitative pay and incentive models - the fact that we won't have a habitable planet in the decades to come is the sadder reality.

People really have no foresight, and it makes me so infuriated.

Preach on brother! You have a great message. Let it be heard! I hear ya.

Yo, long time no see!

Welcome back!

It wonder me how America even make huge profits and extras, they are very wise and still keep things for the future of their unborn children which most countries that even he materials more than America cannot do

God bless America with tactics and they are brainy

The companies that make huge profits are not always wise, many times they exploit us, in one way or another. It looks amazing but there are also a lot of problems that are hard to see.

True that!

I really love this line that you talked about "We the people, are in fact the BUSINESS CREATORS. Without us, they are nothing. They need our labor and they need our money for profits. THEY CAN NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT US." You are perfectly right about this. It is our labour that is making them to have profits and survive. They surely can't survive without
