🆘 T🖱️o anyone that can 🙏help...
I have one of those problems in life that as an IT and Engineer you try to solve until like, "forever", just because you are an engineer. And I am wondering if I should enter a complete out of comfort zone attitude or that is just too much sand for my truck.

Ok, let's get serious and go directly into the subject. And believe me, this has my own valid personal reasons (that unfortunately I don't wish to reveal just yet, in order to protect others).
I need an inDestructible Mouse!
Yes... it sounds very weird and it's NOT for me. But for someone that really needs one to continue a normal life (which by this terms is already not normal).
Idealization of what I am trying to say... (not near the target)
It may sound impossible to manufacture one, but in reality its not. Let's first put this into simpler requirements, ok?
- Has to have a minimum of 2 buttons (wheel functionality is optional, and can be sorted any other way, like capacity pad portion scroll zone, just like the mouse pad on your laptop).
- Buttons need to last at least 100000 clicks, mechanical or not.
- Cable does not need to be indestructible, but something like reinforced, to sustain 10-30Kg force should do (after that, the USB port is the next problem).
- Can be USB cabled or bluetooth, but with lithium battery under reinforced cage (can't move a millimeter with any force before case of the mouse gets damaged).
- Has to sustain 10000 times bashing on concrete floor, as hard as an adult throwing it with all you force!
- Visual look wise, before or after bashing it 10000 times against the floor is not relevant as long it does not make the mouse unusable.
- Does not need to have any IPX standard.
- Can't weight more than 1 Kg...
- Needs to travel without much resistance on flat surfaces at any time of it's life.
- (optional) symmetrical design
Am I crazy?
No... I have modified more than 10 mouses already... to try accomplish the above (at least at 1% extent of it). So, I know what fails on electronics, on the cable, on the usage of plastics, etc...
But, when you consider the increase of force, and at the same time the repetition of events to attempt damage resistance, it's when the way of solving the problem with design fails... and material resistance is needed.
If you know someone that can either produce or has this mouse, please let me know!
