RE: 7 Ways to Prevent America from Becoming a Shithole Country

in #life6 years ago (edited)

The USA has become a shithole itself though. Look at our tax rates and our freedoms? It's a toilet full of crap all right. Speaking of a pile of crap, look at our debt levels.

Trump stirs shit up on purpose to get everyone all riled up. There's no such thing as bad publicity of course. He likes the bad publicity a lot it seems too. It's all a circus anyway to divide and entertain. I try not to pay much attention to it.

I'm against imaginary borders and tax farms in general too, and the only borders should be private property ones. Let law abiding and peaceful people freely travel. Kill or kick out the ones who are not law abiding or peaceful. Shut down every single welfare system from corporate to individual too. Then see who still travels. Good people will travel from bad places to better ones. They will be the productive too, not the lazy.

The reason we have a problem with immigration is the same reason Europe does right now. It isn't the people. The welfare systems are the source of the problem. Stop providing income, homes, food, etc. to all the immigrants, and poof! ... They go away. The problem is solved. Politicians get votes and power from the same people abusing the welfare too, so naturally they are not going to want to stop it.

I'd have to agree with almost everything you've said. "Income Tax" has been misinterpreted at the federal level ever since it became law. Our freedoms read more like a temporary list of privileges that can be rewritten, modified, and manipulated to serve the interests of the ruling elite...who happen to be above the laws they establish for the rest of us.

I do disagree about the borders tho. Private property borders are how imaginary borders got started; first there was a cave, then came the castle, next in line was the kingdom, and then an empire appeared. I don't know that we would have much success if we removed imaginary borders, and then told people around the world..."you can come and go as you please, just don't set foot on my personal property." That's kind of what we have right now with the ruling class, especially those on the left...they want to do away with borders, except for the massive walls surrounding their estates, which also happen to be protected by heavily armed guards.

I'm with ya on getting rid of welfare programs, they not only attract the lazy, they create an atmosphere where becoming an entitlement queen/handout junkie is easier than learning to become self-reliant and sustainable.

We as a collective do not own land. That brings up another issue. Governments shouldn't own land either. Why wouldn't it work? It worked in the past, and it worked in places like Europe before. The reason it is all of a sudden not working well for Europe is of course the welfare and warfare creating so many refugees. When I was a kid, my father would take us across to Canada and to Mexico. We didn't need passports or anything. We simply went. That's how it should be for peaceful people. This country was founded by immigrants simply arriving here. There was no complicated process. :)

You know what...you're absolutely right...I remember traveling freely across both borders when I was a kid too...I stand corrected! :)

It's a very different world these days. I sometimes wonder if this is how the Germans felt as the Nazi Regime came to power or how the colonists felt under the British Empire. This place is quickly becoming a prison, and I'm torn over what to do about it (when I consider my children's future).

That it is my friend...some mornings I think we should all stand up and revolt...other mornings I wake up and day dream about an early retirement to Costa Rica, or a privately owned island somewhere that has little to no governing authority...I worry about our future generations too...bunch of Tide Pod Challenging winners that they are...it's no wonder intelligent life hasn't found its way to this planet yet...LOL!

I've been researching CR and Panama. It's a toss up between them with pros and cons for each. If I had my way, I'd already be in Panama. I just don't know anymore if the march towards further fascism/collectivism here can be stopped.

At this point, I think the ONLY way to stop it is by having another Civil War...the powers that be currently own the largest, organized militia in the country...they have very little reason to listen to our wants, needs, and pleas...

That's coming. There's the inner conflict for me though too. Stay and fight and risk my children, or leave? I've even considered a third option to have a backup relo site for my family. Then I'd stay.
