The Best Thing Is To Do Nothing

As they say, the best thing that one could ever do is to do nothing at all when he is hit with a situation. Ever though that sounds strange sometimes, but the reason behind is always to tell us not do act on false pretense or we should handle ourselves well in times of situations either good or bad.

One sometimes act or say certain things at certain times that really make others to regret a decision they took to have him at a place or position at a given time. Within a twinkling of an eye all hopes they had in that particular person just drops like they never had an aim for the person in question.

In times of happy situations or good moments, people do say certain words or perform an action that seem not to be believable to the very people that gave him the chance to inherit the very power he has. To understand this better, let me give you an example or scenario that can make you grab what I want to push across.

Henry seemed to be the best candidate for a group of people who had the influence to turn things around in his (Henry’s) upcoming presidential position in an organization. Though his plans and goals towards the organization was so lovely and enticing to most people.

After seeking for the necessary help with these group of people who have the influence, Henry finally came through as the president of the organization. Now here is the twist, on the day of announcement that Henry been a victor in the elections. Henry jumped right up and said now I can deal with these foolish people now, out of joy and further said he is the boss now and achieved that sorely through his hard work, without acknowledging anyone who really helped him through to that far.

Let me ask you this, will you ever be happy at that moment if you worked out your ass for Henry to make it through the power he is going to have now? Well, I know you guess is as good as my, and at that very moment all the respect and big hopes you had in him will vanish out of nowhere. Just by that statements he made out of joy (probably he didn’t even know those words came out from him).

At the very moment, you see Henry as a disappointment and really wished you could change back the hands of time, but what has been done can never be undone at that very moment until his term of office is over.

On the other hand, when we are hit with bad situations or news, we should not act foolishly but draw ourselves back to understand the issue at hand and how well we can solve them. I know of someone, who nearly committed suicide over a case that she knew nothing about, but because of the pressure of the case, she thought she leaving the world was her only choice.

She only had to stay strong and face it as a man, then finally she came out as a victor. So we should all know how to handle ourselves when we are hit with situations. And as I said in the beginning the best thing to do is to do nothing, but draw yourself back to know the way forward.
