Fun On The Road

Indeed today is a day of fun and laughter within these few moments where I had to walk about one and half kilometers with three other mates. It was really worth it though and in as much as we all hated walking that kilometers. We had no option than to go with the flow of the evening.

Let me just say, we had to move from our previous center of work to the next town to continue this national contract we had. To say what, the movement was supposed to be done days ago and because of one or two circumstance(s) beyond our control we stayed at our old station to still help out with the people around.

It was until last evening that all the roads were clear for us to finally deploy our equipment to the next center. Meaning we had to move early to set things up to make sure we offer great sacrifice to the mass in terms of letting them have the chance to get an ECOWAS Identity Card.

So this morning we were all out to the place and worked like we should. The twist came in after we had packed and done with where we were supposed to gather our equipment for safe keeping. The rain suddenly began and we had to make sure the rain had finished what it had to do.

The rain wasn’t much but the wind that it brought was the problem. It made the trees and leaves around move any direction it had. After about 45 minutes of the rain with wind, the coast was clear for us to move back home.

Now we were by the road side but there were no car to pick us back to where we came from. So that made us to walk the mile forward so we could get a cab easily. And like I said earlier walking these miles were so fun as we chatted our heads out. I just got home though and I can feel my legs are so tired now.

So until we meet again tomorrow on the chain, Let’s live each second like it was our last moment on earth. Life is an everyday thing: Good life, live it well
