Steemfat: Progress pictures after 1 week. I'm over the moon.

It's been 8 days since I started my commitment to Steemfat: The journey to get in shape for Steemfest 2.

This picture is here so you won't have a half naked me in your feed :) This is today's dinner btw, Cabbage, Brocolli, Pork and a bit of rice, it was great.


I didn't want to post pictures this morning because I thought no result could be reached in just over a week.

But after Bianca and I went to the gym today I asked her to take some anyway. (The first picture was also taken after the gym, so it's a fair comparison)

I remembered from my first journey to get in shape that besides all the numbers and percentages there is another thing that really matters: Progress Pictures.

It can be such a motivator.

I never stopped going to the gym even when I got a little bit more fat on the bones.

I know how to exercise and I can push myself pretty hard. I don't like doing something half heartedly.

You either go for it or you don't. Even in the gym.

I went to the gym 6 times in 8 days and have changed my diet somewhat. I'm eating more vegetables, more protein and cut down on carbs.

I'm drinking less alcohol. Although I did have a big beer and grill session on Saturday with my friends.

I think it was @doctorjohn said in one of his comments that it's all about finding balance. I think he's right.

If I can reach my goal like this, with some weekend fun, and a beer or a glass of wine now and again. That would be great.

That rice dish with Cabbage, Brocolli and Pork looks absolutely delicious. Despite the fact you are on a diet you are still able to rustle up some enjoyable tasty healthy food.

I'm glad that you decided to take some pictures in the end since the huge progress is evident from these photographs. Friends have told me it is best to take weekly photos to track your journey and act as motivation and it really works as you, yourself see the difference your effort is making. I guess you can keep giving us weekly updates which doesn't only keep us involved but acts as a motivator for you as well.

Keep pushing this @exyle. It really warms my heart to see you are doing so well and that you are not afraid of a challenge despite the difficult hurdles you have to pass and the sacrifices you have to make (giving up beer and wine was probably pretty hard haha)

It seems like you may have that great summer body just in time for SteemFest haha. You can do it, I believe in you! I can't wait to see the end results :)

It's great to see you making good progress so far. I think by blogging about it here on Steemit you have a greater chance of accomplishing your goals. The dinner you had looks great. I think you can make some additional progress in your diet by adding more whole grain carbs like whole wheat bread and brown rice.

Hell of a change exyle, and you can tell your food is very much on point because the change is mostly in the mid section, and usually thats the last to go because people cant keep their food in check! Amazing job!

I am also working out but at home rutines and changing my diet, I think that is the hardest part but like you say you either do it or you dont. Thanks for sharing I wil be waiting for your next post! its really good for u u control on ur belly with ur gym only u need 1 month diet and gym and i think u make urself and perfect without any belly @exyle sir...hope u do it soon
