STEEMFAT 3: A new beginning + more Steemians trying to get a little fitter.

in #life6 years ago

I have not stepped inside my gym for two weeks.

This is about to change again.

I have been working my ass off for about 3 months to get in shape for Steemfest 2.

I got nice results while still maintaining a fairly normal lifestyle.

This was my last progress picture 20 days ago.

I have been utterly amazed at how fast that has declined, LOL.

It only took two weeks of infinite beer and good food @ Steemfest and a week after, to make my body go into full-on sloth mode.

But the fun is now over and it's time to work hard to get in shape for Steemfest 3.

It's not easy to get back into it.

I'm about to head out to the gym and my whole body is like:

"Why would you want to lift heavy objects for no reason?"

I will probably take me about 2 weeks to get back into it.

After about a week I'll start posting progress pictures again.

My journey is not about getting completely ripped or only eating only chicken with boiled eggs. I would never be able to keep it up.

It's about having good foods and drinks, having a lot of fun while also maintaining balance and working out hard.

I guess that's a decent way to describe it.

More Steemians trying to get a little fitter.

I have noticed some more people trying to get in shape lately on Steemit. I think that's a great development and it's possible to get some inspiration of each other.

My friend @s3rg3 has started a challenge here to get into shape and is working his ass off.

@nanzo-scoop is about to start his Fit @ 40 series. here.

My girlfriend @bkdbkd, is going through her own weight loss journey and writing about it from the female perspective here.

If you on your own journey and writing about it let me know. I can add you to the list.

Wow really an amazing difference you got with you body. you are looking more fit and active beautiful than before @exyle

Great progress @exyle .. You will definitely achieve achieve your goal, as you are putting good dedication into it.

I feel like I should too.....:D:D:D
I found that counting calories is the best fastest surest way to get in shape. nutrition is mightly important...most people think that counting is hard and only for obsessed but to me, is a very liberating experience because in the limits of your daily calories intake you can do whatever you want ( and can manipulate the numbers in your favor; yey for protein!! ).
Good luck!!

Thank you! I actually have started to add more protein to my diet already. They give a 'full feeling' and helps with muscles.

I can not recommend myprotein enough: casein and whey. cheap easy way to add protein to your diet, I use the one without any taste and add milk or anything I want, it's great :)

Wow very good post indeed and motivational which am sure made many steemians to follow your foot steps to improve on their health by getting more fit. Am sure that you will do great, lets hope that many more will join in order for us to have a healthy steemit community...
In my recent post, I outlined reasons why people fail here and mentioned you there-feel free to see it. More success to you and keep up the good work.

Im actually trying to gain some weight!

My lifestyle of the last two weeks and no exercise will get you there!

I will make sure to try it out! 😂

Wow thats amazing. I also stopped going to gym for a while but feel like joining again. I find yoga even more better, but for some people gym works better for them.

I am joining a new gym this week. A cheap one but it's near my work and will do the job!

Awesome! Will you write about it once in a while?

I probably will but in my daft style, so not worthy of inclusion in your proper list of get fit'rs!

I am not a big person. I even want to gain some weight. Hahahahahaha.

I mine country been big is a sign of good health.

If you on your own journey and writing about it let me know. I can add you to the list.

Not so much a journey to get physically fitter, bot more mentally. Although I now see both go hand-in-hand. I go out twice a weak with a personal trainer to get physically and mentally fitter. Started two weeks ago and I can already feel the effects!

Well done for picking up your training again. It shows once again that you're dedicated.

Awesome job man. I can tell you I almost dropped on the floor when you (of all people) started to work out :). Will you write about it?

Lol. Yeah I’m still getting used to the idea as well 🙈
I think I’ll write about it. Might be a good addition to the workout to reflect on things.

@exyle I like it. I need to get UP and move around too. The key is consistency !
