I will briefly discuss about fire in this post, as one of the unforeseen occurrence that has caused damage to so many homes/workplace since history.
According to the American Red Cross, fire causes over $7 billion damage to properties each year. This is enough reason why we need to be vigilant.
We all need to be prepared and always have a regular safety check so as to reduce the risk of fire outbreaks around us. Below are three basics essential steps to reduce the risk of fire outbreak.
First is to always be on the "LOOK". Always be on the lookout for possible hazards around us and make sure to eliminate them immediately and effectively.
Second is to always LISTEN carefully. Have your ears open all day for your fire alarms and the scream of others.
Lastly, LEARN how to escape from two ways in the building should incase a fire outbreak occurs. And set a meeting point (safe place) where all members present in the building will assemble when there is fire.
