Admit It when You Are Wrong

We are humans and we are born to make mistakes. Which simply means that we can never be right at all times. Yet, some people find it very difficult to admit that they are wrong when it is very evident that they are wrong.

This is as a result of their ego. Admitting to the fact that they are wrong is very very unpleasant to them and it will cause a bruise to their ego.

People who don't admit that they are wrong psychologically thinks that they are showing strength by not backing down. But the truth is that, they are psychologically fragile. Yes, they are fragile and they are trying to protect their fragile ego.

When we refuse to admit that we are wrong, it comes with various consequences. One of the major consequences is that, it causes a strained relationship between friends and family members. They begin to see us as being too proud and pompous to admit to the fact that we are wrong.

Secondly, we tend to loose their respect for us. Nobody will want to respect a person who cannot admit that they are wrong which will eventually create a communication barrier with others.

The most important reason why we should always admit when we are wrong is that, our conscience gets to judge us. Most especially when another person gets to receive the blame that we were meant to receive.

So friends, we should try as much as we can to let go of our ego and admit that we are wrong when we are. We can simply just say "I am sorry" after admitting to it and everyone will be happy once again.
