DTube Fitness Challenge - Let's Motivate Each Other to get in Shape! Benefits of Exercise

I think one of the powerful things about DTube is the ability to influence one another. We are such a small community right now that we can help influence each other for the good. The way @Gisi has influenced me in our friendship to get into shape because of all of his videos. So my encouragement to all of us here today is, let's exercise! I know we know it's good for us, but maybe these benefits here I discuss in this video will actually compel us to get off our editing and work stations, get up and actually get some shape in us! Here are some magical benefits of exercise.

  1. Makes you happier!
  2. Good for the brain!
  3. Good for the skin!
  4. Anti-aging! Age gracefully
  5. Improved immune function (health is wealth guys!)
  6. Confidence (you feel much better about yourself)

All of these things are great additions to your life. And all you need is 15-60 minutes a day. Can you spare 15 minutes to be happier, reduce the risk of tragic brain disease, look younger, feel better, be healthier with a stronger immune system and be more confident? I think so!

Hey guys and gals, I’ve been a student of life and love to learn new things. I've studied film, acting (film and theatre), Natural Medicines, Psychology, Business and Photography. I’ve read over 2,000 different books and consume at least 50 new books a year. I also owned and operated a Consultancy Firm for about 3 years and was a professor for Personal Development for one of the leading schools in the field called John Robert Powers. Aside from working with over 3 fortune 500 companies, I’ve also owned and operated over 4 businesses. Along with that, I've travelled all over Europe, South America and Asia doing non-profit work for Orphanages and shelters. I also speak from time to time to Youth Groups and Churches. I hope that some of these personal life lessons add value to your life.

I believe that success is not our final destination. I don’t believe in failure, I believe in learning from mistakes. I believe that it’s okay to be obsessed. It’s evidence of passion in your life.

My pleasure! I do rry to eat healthy and we do not buy any premade stuff. Cook ourselves. Eat ourselves too hahaha. Working physical work. Only maybe more cardio for the muscles to come out hehe. Spring is COMING!

Great challange! I've always wanted to workout daily, and lately have been able to stick with it, and that's a huge change in how I feel.
Fitness is one of these areas in life that affects almost every other part of your life, I guess because when you change your body, like you mentioned, you affect your mind and energy level.

I'll take the challenge with you lets do it man, I'm not going to start with a gym until I feel I can fully benefit but ill start with the weights and other equipment I have at my home. also lots of great info in this video about exersise i didnt know.

Man it makes me feel so happy that I am able to impact people and motivate them to start exercising, because as you said there are so many benefits to it :) You mentioned how people criticise who is in shape and so on, the main message to those people is that taking the effort that is being put in getting in shape and applying that to whatever other aspect of their life they wish to, will provide success :D And yes you pronounce gisi correctly :) "geesee" ahaha

Great - we all know exercise is good physically and as you said, there are many mental and emotional benefits as well. I've just got back into kickboxing and am loving it. Moving your body is really important - maybe a DTube Daily challenge?

The healthier I get the more opportunity I see in the world, and the better I feel. The better I feel, the better I am able to treat those around me. A baseline of health is a prerequisite to many enjoyable things in life. I have been doing 10 sets of 20 pushups with 100 squats total a day for almost 2 months now, coupled with intermittent fasting and only ingesting carbs between 4pm and 6pm. I was doing 100 sit-ups; but my back was getting seriously messed up. According to my scale I have lost 8 pounds, and converted 4% fat to 4% muscle. I don't know how accurate it is, but I definitely feel better than I did during the holiday season. I have been in good shape before (my six pack was coming in), then I pulled both quadriceps and abductors in a jujitsu match and fell back into an unfit methodology! But now I am looking to get fit and stay fit. I'm all for a fitness challenge. Let's do this!
