The People In My Phone
The people who’s contact information I don’t have are the most supportive group in my phone. My phone isn’t much different than yours—it’s an iPhone. Inside it are friends, acquaintances, a network of people, quite a few I don’t know, they’re all in there. The most supportive people are the ones I can’t call, the people who’s contact information I don’t have—yours.
Drawing, writing, regardless of the style, making people laugh, composing, painting, the list goes on, it’s all #art. Creativity as a whole is exciting and something worth talking about—just not to everyone.
I’ve shared several articles that I published on #steemit with people inside my phone that I know personally. People I grew up with and have known more than 30 years, work I’m really proud of. But whether it was an award winning drawing or my highest payout post, I can’t get the people in my phone to click on them. It’s always something like “I guess not, send it to me again.”
I’m thankful you’re in my phone—you inspired this post. You’re why I’m here; writing, drawing, curating, doing this, that, responding in the wrong spot, whatever it is I’m doing. 🤔 You’re the most supportive group of people in my phone and I’ve barely known you a year. Thank you, Steem Blockchain community, thanks for making the post button less terrifying. Happy Thanksgiving, God bless us all!

Isn’t it amazing how supportive (basically) complete strangers can be? Yet this Steem Blockchain has expanded so many acquaintances to friendships, through great vibes and kind and encouraging words. Motivation, creativity, and just a good ol’ fashioned 👍🏿

How neat! I just read all three of your responses to my work, first, I’m greatly appreciative you took the time to check out what I’m doing.
It was real neat just now, going through your responses and the way I opened them worked out perfectly. First it was the poem, you didn’t get it... the next one I opened was the response to my #fff, you got that one and even laughed—perfect! And I’m telling you man, I can’t plan this stuff!
