Took a Trip to the Crystal Shop, Spent $160 on Rocks.
We went to the house of a local crystal vendor over the weekend and were in awe of the collection.
I snagged some pictures to share of the museum quality pieces on display. These are well out of our current price range for purchase but still very fun to look at.
This "maze" piece was very interesting and not for sale. Not sure how many of you are familiar with the show "West World" but it seems as though their concept of the maze came from actual history. I have not had time but am going to research it more to see what the relation is soon.
Made a nice display of our purchases when we got home. Below are the names of the stones we ended up with and their supposed metaphysical properties. An earlier post of mine has some science to show the different types of energies objects can emit outside of our percieved reality. I still take a lot of it with a grain or grains of salt though as everyone should.
I personally enjoy crystals and see them as a good investment for the most part. Gifting is my favorite aspect of the process and I do it often. Even purchased a bag of quartz points to give away. I may even sell some on peerhub if there is any interest, let me know in the comments.
I just don't know what to say. I guess "Wow!"
Not just crystals or rocks, these are the minerals available to us if we choose to do some experimenting.
I should have added some info as to how they actually grow. Personally consider them organisms or advanced self organizing structures.
There's always room for another post, or was that Jello?
yes, may do another post
Those are some cool pick ups. I need to look into some of the metaphysical properties and things but they're gorgeous.
Thanks, we are very happy with them.
have you seen the salt candle holders? those are cool i usually see them in those rock stores
Himalayan salt is the best, have a few large pieces ourselves and also cook with it.
That's great! I have a great, but small collection of semi-precious gemstones and crystals somewhere in Mom's basement. I would like to find it again. There are some beauties in there.
Put them on display!
Oh, wow! Your $160 crystal shopping spree brings back memories of my own magical adventure. I remember stepping into this enchanting store, Crystal Shop , not expecting to be captivated by those little earthly treasures.
As I browsed, I was drawn to a shimmering, deep purple Amethyst cluster. I could feel its calming energy almost instantly. I was surprised when the shopkeeper told me that Amethyst was known for its soothing properties and spiritual connections. It felt as if the crystal had chosen me!
