Your quote makes us to think and it is a truth living in community among other people we learn everyday and we orientated in time, place and ourselves. I recall the experiments when some people volunteered to stay in isolated place without any connection to outer world for few weeks and even after few days tehy were not sure what is reality, lost the feeling of time and were depressed or thought to get crazy.
Reality is there and we learn it with all our senses and that is great, that is human being.
Thank you for your beautiful work @bleujay, initially I thought that these are wine leaves from the structure of it but so many little flowers made me confused. I love those little "veins" running through the leaves :)

Interesting about the sense of time.....yes acquired indeed. I was thinking about the principle from the view of how a baby is self centric and has to learn/acquire the knowledge that there is more to life than just self........a much larger picture... ^__^

Your art is very pleasing to my palette. Green is one of my favorite colors even though I own very few items in green, but I try to fit green into my home any way that I can.
I like the first picture. It is a beautiful play of light, depth, and shadows.
I also like the last piece of art. I'm not sure if it is a drawing by hand or computer generated, but I can picture it on my wall above a console table in my entry way.

Green is one of those colours that is never tiring to the eye.
