Yes....birds are rather elusive when it comes to cameras. One of your posts had a bird in the cover photograph...the other day....beautiful watercolour. Birds add a lovely element of life to one work.

Nice shots of him. If you like those, you might want to check out my post today where at the end I include a video I shot from my kayak as a blue heron gets a fish. It kind of startled me and I was just fortunate to be filming at the time!!

Yes...a heron...is he not a beautiful specimen. Such a windy day...see the tail feathers....yet he looks so very still.
As for the principle...once we mark it...categorise it...the behaviour we can better understand how to deal with it . Another principle that comes to mind that may assist.....Consider the source....and another....Until you can categorise you will not make it in life.

Whenever possible, don't try to change the way someone acts. That's how I see it these days.

Notice we both used the word...'try'.....for it is impossible to change others. Motivation is an inside job is another principle that comes to mind.

Birds are my passion. I used to watch those guys pluckin' up lizards for lunch in Florida. When not diving, I watch birds.
