Why it is better to keep your prejudices aside when traveling
Your perception widens when you travel, but if you are a prejudiced person, you will lose but gain nothing.
Our opinions doesn't not liberate us but put us in the shackles that we are unaware of. Traveling is an opportunity for us to break open our shackles, gain new experiences and expand our reservoir of knowledge but if we are hugely prejudiced person we will miss the whole point and end up judging each and every other thing.
Our opinions or perception is the result of the society in which we live, and it will work all good and fine when you are in that society but once you try to expand your horizon you will come across other cultures, sometimes very strange cultures, strange in your perception, now the onus is on you to leave all your judgement and pre formed opinions aside and embrace everything that comes your way, because that is the way of a true wanderer.
You don't want to ignore anything, whatever it is, it doesn't matter, your attention must not discriminate, your thoughts must be equanimous. Good and bad are your making, there is nothing like this for nature, once you have decided to become a wandering soul you are now seeing everything from a neutral view point.
While traveling don't be selfish at least, loosen your boundaries and try to include in it as much as possible, then only you would know the true joy of traveling.
Are you packing your bags just for the sake of society or you really want to see the world, if you really want to see the world then see it, don't miss it, if you are traveling with the baggage of your memory you will see it and miss it.
This is not just about travel, in life also we must be open ended, close will you be when you are dead, do not care about that but when you are alive be open, there must be no limit to your absurdity, be absurd as much as you can, be illogical because there is something outside of logic which is beautiful and wonderful.

You can only know and understand yourself when you go in alone and talk to yourself. Solo trip is one way which we can do on equal interval of time to detoxify our soul.
But today majority of population is simply unable to enjoy their own company.
