More than two years ago Bitcoin was once again dominating the crypto markets, like it does today, with 65% of the total market capitalization on its side. Today is back on this level but unfortunately I don't have any Bitcoin... again.

I only own altcoins because I'm poor and that's what I can afford or at least that I consider the best investment option for my money. However, I see with almost every week that my satoshi value is decreasing no matter the wallet or the exchange I'm holding my coins. I have the spread on several wallets...

I just checked my Binance account where I keep safe a small portion of my portfolio and in a two months time frame I lost almost 0.04 BTC in value that meaning about 50% of the initial satoshi value that I had when I transferred the funds are safu there.

Do I regret now not owning only BTC through such times? Yes and No. I actually regret only holding alts and not diversifying. I am sure that... or should I say I have the intuition that when alts will start collecting money the returns on such investments will be on a higher scale than Bitcoin, some already have that, but for now BTC would have been a better hold.

In 2017 it happened pretty much the same thing with money entering the market first through BTC and then out of BTC and into altcoins and for some smart guys that didn't wait for any moon landing money went out of alts as well before they crashed like hell. Yes, it would have been better for me to hold only BTC for at least until now and then start buying alts... but it is what it is.

Fingers crossed for a good alt season this year. At least like the 2017 was.
