you are a tad misinformed... the Canadian Prime Minister pledges allegiance to the Queen of Canada ... while her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the Queen of England, she literally becomes Queen of Canada in mid-Atlantic. Canada is a constitutional monarchy . She is our head of state represented by the Governor General.
I suspect those who want Trudeau as your President do so more because of what you currently have more than what Trudeau is like. Sort of a grass is greener thing.
