Today is COLD!
This photo wasn't taken today but at this same time 2 years ago. Today's temps have reached low enough for it to snow but it is too dry to see snow around these parts right now. We're cooped up inside today, trying to keep warm but we'd much rather be out seeing the glorious countryside. This photo was taken between Guyra and Armidale in New South Wales, Australia.

We're in Brizzy but would very much like to move down to the Northern Rivers but have looked as far down as inland from Coffs.

Looks beautiful but frosty at the same time. I really like the setting. Personally I prefer warmer areas, but definitely I would visit this place.
I prefer a warmer climate too however not too hot! I don't mind visiting cooler areas though, they have a certain beauty about them which you just can't find anywhere else! : )

wow i had no idea... how often does it snow there?
At this location, not very often. They get a light dusting every year but it can be REALLY light. When we went 2 years ago it was the best fall in several years. It wasn't any good last year and nothing so far this year as it's too dry.
There's other locations further south in New South Wales and in Victoria which get good falls every year (where our ski slopes are) oh and Tasmania, I can't forget those guys... but we do use the help of snow machines to keep a good thick layer of snow on the slopes.
