My Bit of Paradise Past: #2

Welcome to the backyard of my first home.

Paradise is here or nowhere: you must take your joy with you or you will never find it. Orison Swett Marden

This is the approach to the backyard. Growing the backyard through the days, months and years kept love in my heart. I know that I learned affection and self-giving during the years I lived in my first home. I believe in tomorrows because of my old garden.

Beautiful <3

@dreemsteem, for the Welcome Wagon ;)

Are you moving? Where? But yes, the garden will return the love threefold! I am so glad to be able to share this with you. I hope you will not tire of coming!

Wow Saver....you have a botanical garden there.🌹

Hahahaha, it is... I had many fruit trees, flowers, and a tiny vegetable patch. Hopefully, I will be able to show it all to you in time. Thanks for stopping by, my friend. Take care.

Truly was a beautiful slice of your own personal paradise! Pics were taken at the perfect time of year too! I'm looking forward to part 3! Have fun, and I'll see ya soon, my SSFL👊💗

It so nice to see you here, again! This area is where I always have my friends over. Somehow, my home became a weekend destination. We'd stay hours, sometimes the entire day in the backyard. It provided privacy and the best of feelings (for me, anyway). I will see you soon! Have a great Saturday. Take care my SSFL👊💗

Wow! This indeed loook like a paradise....thats some therapy zone in your backyard. Its beautiful! !!

Hahaha, I like that... therapy zone! Yup, it is very healing to be in the backyard! Thanks for stopping by, my friend! I hope your weekend is going great! Take care.

Yay! It really looks therapeutic and dont be surprised if your friends just want to come have a moment of reflection at your backyard, personally, I might do that if I were living close to you.

My weekend has been pretty loaded with fun activities but the thought of unfinished project at work and Monday's deadline kept snapping me back to reality! :(

Absolutely beautiful my friend, enjoying the journey through your past and appreciating the time and work that went into making this gorgeous garden. Thanks for sharing

I loved that backyard. Looking at the photos is so very healing for me. Thanks for stopping by, my friend. Take care.

I Just wanted to say Thank You for allowing me to be a part of your Paradise it looks like it was a wonderful place to gather and gain some solitude. I can see you poured your Heart into your Garden.

Oh, @stokjokey! Such sweet words. You are a dear friend... it is my pleasure to share what was a great source of joy for me in my past life. And as I create these post, memories of sweet years of my life brings forth such gladness and healing for me. I appreciate you! Have a wonderful weekend, my friend. Take care.

Just had some landscaping done on my front and backyard. Plants are still young, and some young fruit trees in place. Looking forward to the next few years as they mature! The Bay Area's weather is just a big plus. Which city were you in before?

They all grow in time... and fruit trees are just wonderful to have! I appreciate you stopping by, my friend, and so grateful for your support of my blog. I see that you are a wine specialist! I used to order cases of wine from a wine broker. She calls herself the Wine Diva. Her wines are mostly imports, from Germany, mostly. It was her who introduced me to Dornfelder and Icewines. I learned to love Roquefort with Icewines from her. We would have wine tastings at home, and she'd come and give us all some education on wine terminologies, and pairings... those were the days. Now, I just have one favorite... Pinot Noir!

Nah, I am a light-weight when it comes to wine and alochol in general. I mostly give wine as gifts rather than drinking them myself. I am supporting this startup company, which combines good wine with a 'raffle'-like business concept. They are based in SF, and have their cellar in Napa Valley.
