My first "real" hike (Day 2. Part1.)

The second day began late, as for us, people who want to see as much as possible. After the heavy first, we decided to rest a little longer. In the morning Vitaly prepared the most delicious fresh-soup!

This greatly raised the mood, because everyone thought whether it would make sense to take dry socks in wet shoes or how to do it, so that the legs get used to the cold wet socks as soon as possible. Everyone knew that it was enough to make a couple of steps on the grass and start to "squish" ...

But there was no other option, especially since it did not last long. If you walk actively, everything will dry somewhere in an hour.

We climbed from the lake Apshinets (in Ukrainian Апшинець) on the ridge and continued our journey to Ust-Chorna.

Fog again started dancing around the ridge. Walking for a couple of miles left this foggy area behind. And ahead of us was waiting for a bright, sunny day. In terms of photos it is not very suitable, but never complain about the weather in the mountains - because it can always be worse ...

День другий почався пізно, як для нас, людей, які хочуть якнайбільше побачити. Після важкого першого, вирішили відпочити трошки довше. Зранку була найсмачніша уха від Віталія! Це здорово підняло настрій, тому що всі думали чи є сенс взувати сухі шкарпетки у мокре взуття або як це зробити, щоб ноги якнайшвидше звикли до холодних мокрих шкарпеток. Всі розуміли, що достатньо зробити пару кроків по траві і почне «хлюпати»…
Але іншого варіанту не було, тим паче, що це не надовго. Якщо активно ходити все висохне десь за годину.

Ми піднялись від оз. Апшинець на хребет та продовжили свій шлях до Усть-Чорної.
Туман знов почав свої танці навколо хребта. Відійшовши на пару кілометрів, залишили цей туманний район позаду. А попереду нас чекав яскравий, сонячний день. В плані світлин це не дуже підходить, але ніколи не жалійтеся на погоду у горах – тому що завжди може бути гірше…
