Decentralization and the recent breakdown

Now here is what I've been thinking in the last days.

In some extent, that huge IT breakdown, caused my Microsoft and their AV partner, is caused by the lack of decentralization.

Of course, Microsoft did not hesitate to throw the blame to a third-party, but to be truthful, their implementation of that third-party software also allowed for all that hell to come loose. Logical, isn't it?

In the case of decentralization, once a server of a few fail, the others do the job instead. No information could be lost unless in the unlikely event all the servers crash and their memory catches fire at the same time.

Big corp, however, have plenty to hide, so even if they implement some partial decentralization, (they have something similar now with the clouds), it would never be open to everyone, not the way, for instance, everyone could buy or hire a server and add a new witness (in the terms of STEEM).

So, prepare for more blue screens!
