The list of best institution, best student and best head teacher among secondary schools in Companyganj Upazila of Noakhali has been published. Among the schools, Amir Hossain, headmaster of Abu Nacher Chowdhury Municipal High School, was selected as the best institution head.

National Education Week-2023 celebration committee at upazila level has selected him as the best institution head for ensuring the quality of education and making multi-faceted contribution in the field of education. Earlier in 2017, he was elected the best head of the organization.

He has been performing his duties efficiently as the head teacher of Abu Nacher Chowdhury Municipal High School from 2006 till now. He has no lack of dedication in his professional life.

He started his teaching career as an assistant teacher in Bhunar Hat High School of Kabirhat Upazila in 1987. Later in 1988 Charparvati joined Mehrunannecha High School. From 1989 to 2006, he was working as a senior teacher in Madhyam Charkankra High School. At the end of 2006, he joined Abu Nacher Chowdhury Municipal High School as head teacher based on merit. Till now he is working efficiently in that school.

Head teacher Amir Hossain is known as Amir Hossain B.Sc. For 35 years in teaching life, he is a dear person to the teaching community. Along with teaching, he has been leading the secondary teachers association for more than a century. After serving as the General Secretary of the Secondary Teachers Association, he has been serving as the President of the Teachers Association since 2022. Apart from this, since the establishment of Basurhat Academy, the best private educational institution, he has been in charge of the General Secretary till now. At the same time, he is also serving as the President of Companiganj Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee.

Besides, members of the reception implementation committee and former students of the institution, Kamrul Islam, Md. Khairul Alam, Md. Abu Saeed, Taishir Ahmed, Amirul Islam, Mohammad Nur Ullah, Mamun Ashraf, Sanaullah Tamjid and Zahidul Islam and many others spoke.

At the end of the ceremony, Md. Anwar Hossain, a former student of the madrasa and the director of the Suffa Model Madrasa, gave crests to all the outgoing teachers on behalf of Suffa Model Madrasa.
