A Journey in Paris

Our family journey started in Paris. I've been dreaming about this for many year and this finally happend. I pack up my suitcase, go to the airport and here we go.

I didn't like photos from airplane windows, but this view completely changed my mind.

Now then, we came out of Orly airport and at the first onset went to a bus station. By the way - bus is the cheapest way to get to Paris from airport. Also it's pretty comfortable. It takes 5 minute to find a bus and 50 minutes en route.

Perhaps, I would like to start with bad sides of Paris.
• We didn't like underground in Paris. It's really hard to find your way, especially if you don't know french. Also it's squalid and little bit stinky.
• There is an impression that there are more rats then people. If you would like to walk along Seine, you'll see at least few rats.

So, lets talk about advantages.
• We were staying in Paris on November. That is really nice time to go there. There is rather low tourists and weather let us leave our down jackets at home, put on coats and feel deeply parisian style.
• Paris is that type of city which you will really like. Everyone will find something to their liking. Fashion, architecture, captivating history, lots of museums and sights, delicious food, incredible wine - in is imposible to remain indifferent.
• Really big advantage - lots of people speak english. It was really matter for our family, because we know only russian and english. You will not have any problem with finding way and buying tickets. Everything is pretty simple if you speak english.

Now I wanna share my own impressions.
Surely, Paris is incredibly romantic place. The most famous symbol of France is Eiffel Tower and of course it's impossible come to Paris and ignore attending this tower.
To be honest, by day Eiffel Tower doesnt make an impression of something "incredible"

But by night... It's amazing. Unfortunatley, photo is not able to show this as magic as your own eyes.

Also we attended one of the most creative district of Paris - Montmartre. This place is loved by writers, singers and artists. It is something like Arbat street in Moscow. When we walked along this beautiful streets, it was something magical. It seemed like we was in Paris of twenties. We just fell in love with this area.
