Introducing myself.

I'm a retired civil servant & a widower in South Africa. I played 1st team rugby, ,fished for my province as an angler then was made captain & finally captain/manager of the KwaZulu Natal Team. I competed in the Annual Canoe Marathon & the 50 Miler ]both in a double canoe-came 2nd in the latter] & played competitive pool. I wrote a joke book which unfortunately is not selling too well as a paperback & eBook. I was supporting my son in his snake catch & release programme which he does to raise money after he was retrenched & couldn't find work due to affirmative action in South Africa. A lot of this involves township dwellers who cannot afford his fee but because of his love for snakes [glad to say it was inherited yours truly] Funds have dried up so my support has dwindled but I help whenever possible.
