A Plaid Skirt that I made from scratch! / 思いつきでスカート作成！

Another thing I'm currently into! Recently I’ve been into making clothes by using a sewing machine. Actually, I used to make small goods like tote bags, pouches, when I was 11-12 years old as one of the kids' activity things. But I hadn't done anything since then. So this time was my first challenge for over 20 years.

もう一つ趣味追加し忘れてました！最近ミシンを使って洋服を作ることにハマっていたんでした。実は小学生のころにミシンをおもちゃ代わりに、超適当ですがポーチやバッグを作っていたことがあるんです。それ以来ミシン触ってないから、多分二十数年以上ぶりのチャレンジになります（笑）

One day I saw those pictures and thought I kinda wanna wear this kind of leather jacket and long skirt coordinate. They look really cool. Damn, I can't wait. I wanna do this RIGHT NOW.

ある日、ネットでこんな感じのファッションスナップを見ていて、レザージャケットとロングスカートのコーデがすごくクールだなと思い、どうしても同じような格好をしたくなりました。しかも今すぐ。突然です（笑）

Luckily that day was Friday, which means I could use the whole weekend. So I ordered some check pattern fabric and parts like a zipper, bias tape etc online. The next day, I got all the stuff to get started. (Thanks Amazon! You're such a convenient my friend!)

たまたまその日が金曜で、週末に予定がなかったため、アマゾンプライムで生地やジッパーなどの材料をゲットし、翌日には届いたので、準備万端です。スゴイわ、アマゾン。一生友達でいて♡

I've never used patterns, I don't even know how to create/use patterns. I just imagine the shape of clothes what I want and put marks very roughly with a pencil or pins on the fabric directly lol

パターンなんて作ったこともないし、使い方も知らないので、いつもどんな服が作りたいかをイメージしながら適当に寸法測って、チャコペンでマークしてまち針でペッペッペーっと留めてくのが私のスタイルです。
