Friday coffee break :) 金曜日のコーヒーブレイク [EN/JP]

I always have problems drawing guys, men and little boys (all the same thing I guess :) I find it hard to control how they look like.

男子の描き方は本当に謎です。特に年齢を表現するのは難しくて、子供に見えたり、老けた感じが強かったり、まだよくコントロールができません。上手く描けないから、たまにこういう風に練習をします。

So here is a practice drawing:

First, comes a tiny sketch of a general pose. When I can't come up with anything interesting, I start looking at photos of friends or look through magazines for poses and outfits ideas.
Then I make a bigger drawing, which often doesn't look like the sketch.

まず小さなスケッチをして、ポーズを決めます。手と腕で雰囲気を作り出します。面白いポーズが浮かばない時は、友人の写真や雑誌などをみたりします。服の研究にもなりますから^^
スケッチを元にして、大きくドローイングをします。この段階でよく変わったりします。

This is the final picture with white details added.
ペン入りが終わったら、ホワイトを入ります。
