Little Drummer Girl :: People of Japan #6

in #japan6 years ago

Little Nanachan was helping to keep everyone in line. This was her first performance, according to the announcer, and she was off to a fine start.

You may smile and think we are humoring her (and her parents), but actually this is the age that many start signing up for things like taiko, which they will then practice all their life. Nanachan was performing with the adult group, but some taiko performances will bring out the entire group of fresh talent, which is nothing more than a group of 3 year olds pounding on drums randomly for a few minutes.
